Season 8 Guide Rewards

When Preseason 8 came around, mobafire had an event for guide authors that updated for the new season, and there was going to be $10 RP for authors that did. Did that ever happen and my guide was missed, or did it just not happen?

All eligible authors have been gifted already. If you didn't receive a reward it's because your guide didn't qualify, sorry.

I'm pretty sure my guide was eligible, i PM'd you asking if it was when the event was going on, and you said it was eligible to be in the giveaway

Sorry for the confusion. There are two kinds of "eligibility" - one is whether the guide was updated within the correct time frame for the giveaway and whether it was a full guide (you passed this one) and the other is whether the guide content was sufficiently up to date. If you didn't receive a reward due to outdated content, it means I found something that wasn't up to date in your guide (old runes, removed items, outdated descriptions, etc.).

I had hundreds of guides to go through so I didn't keep a record of the reasons behind each disqualification, sorry. :/
