    - The biggest differences between critical strike Miss Fortune & lethality Miss Fortune are this:

Crit helps to enhance your basic attacks giving you good scaling into the late game, and is best for targets who stack armor. Once you hit 60% crit + Infinity Edge, your basic attacks will be effective against anyone you hit.

Lethality is best for the early to mid-game & against targets who don’t build lots of armor or who generally don’t have high base armor ratings. This route provides more effective ability damage against targets. Alongside access to Black Cleaver (provides % armor reduction), each auto attack, Double Up or Bullet Time wave you hit will make your target weaker to future physical damage, not only for you but your team as well.

Both crit & lethality are effective on Miss Fortune and share a bridge item - The Collector. This item is very effective in both play styles since it has both crit & lethality in one item, making it very efficient if needed.

As to which is more efficient, I say it’s situational based on what you’re facing in each game.

Miss Fortune will usually build the two item types in tandem.

If Miss Fortune builds just Crit items without any Lethality or Armor Pen, she'll deal a lot of damage, but only to people who have very little or no armor - building armor against her will be VERY cost effective for the enemy team.

If Miss Fortune just builds Lethality items without at least an Infinity Edge, she's not getting the most out of her Double Up's secondary ability, and her Ultimate Bullet Time.

I hope that helps answer your question.

This isn't entirely true. Lethality items are most effective against lightly armored targets, while Black Cleaver and Last Whisper are effective against tankier enemies. The two types of armor pen work well together so you'll generally build both, unless the entire enemy team is quite squishy.

What lethality does best is providing strong early power spikes and high ability damage. Lethality MF does a ton of damage with each Q and her ult hits hard. However, lethality doesn't scale as well into late game as Crit and tends to have pretty poor DPS. For a late game build that maximizes DPS, you'll want several crit items.

Lethality = good abilities + early game
Crit = good DPS and scaling

Both builds can be effective against squishy and tanky targets, but they spike at different points in the game.

Crit Miss Fortune is the more mainstream build as fo the meta right now, but there are a few people who still play using the lethality build. From what I have played, Lethality MF works against some very specific team comps, such as one that would normally build armor, something like a Draven, and a Braum or an Alistar. How i have seen it played, the miss fortune builds the standard Essence Reaver, into something like a Youmuu's Ghostblade, then other lethality items.

    Hope this helps,
