why doesn't my guide show up when searching or browsing?

just published the first chapter of my first guide, i see that it has views, a vote, and a comment, yet it doesn't show up when i browse for all heimerdinger guides or use the search tool. i even tried logging out and having my fiance log in, nothing! any ideas?

Have you looked under Builds instead of guides? Just a little lower on the page. For me it shows up. Your guide has to be longer to fall under the category of a full guide.

thanks immensely for the the timely answer! you the real mvp! is there a guide on guides that discusses the details more in depth? still haven't filled out much for the items section but that's because of my philosophy on item selection revolving around your opponent, not predetermination.

You can check out the help tab in the guide editor for help with coding and what topics you could talk about in your guide. I also recommend checking out on Guide to making a guide. But the best advice I can give you is checking out on some popular guides here to get an idea how you should develop your guide. You can always take a look at the winning guides from the midseason guide contest!

it's only short because I aim to be thorough and it's new. I just created it this morning after reading some cringe worthy "you can't be serious, play league of legends, or actually know how to read if that's your build" guides, I will be adding to it as time permits between matches throughout the coming days, weeks, months, whathaveyou (until I fall in love with playing something else or become the top Heimer player/guide). I am familiar with the content that is expected/most often found on mobafire guides......but I am not happy with the idea that gear/items can/are somewhat predetermined in the minds of most players/guide writers or that 99% of these guides are even worth the cost of the server space they selfishly horde, so I am trying a different angle for general content......can't wait to get past the basics and add actual match up/situational advice and get the gravy poured onto the meat and potatoes……..oh to be financially liberated.....what a life that would be ;)
