Can you promote super minions...?
I know you can't change them or anything, but do they get bonus stats at least?

Lol. I've heard a ton of people call this spell worthless and all I say is, Go tell HotShotGG.

Recently, CLG.Na went vs CLG.EU where HotshotGG went support Nunu & Willump and Chauster went Lee Sin jungle and this spell was the pinnacle of the epic duel. While CLG.Na did lose, this spell just.. pwned. HotShotGG cast it on a minion on the sidelanes everytime it was off cooldown, making them push right up to the inhibitor till someone went B and took care of it. I mean 1 damn Promote made it a 4v5 when Flash or Ignite have iffy chances of doing so.

Watch the game, you'll be amazed at all the amazing **** HotShotGG pulled off with this spell.

Sincerely,

JungleKing

This skill is nice for split pushing and winning your lane overall and can give a game a strange, fun and unexpected twist which, when not handled properly, can destroy a turret in twice the speed a normal push would. This spell is very very useful to win your lane when you get counterpicked. Along with Teleport as spell you can push two lanes effectively. Downside is that you might want to buy gp5 items instead of your regular build this way, because you will be roaming more, cant go 1v1 that easily, because you lack real combat spells like ignite and most extra income will come from assists or kills. The countdown makes it useable every two waves with an siege minion. So, to make myself clear, when you use the spell, you have to wait a siege minion wave to use it again.

Also, the money income is about 50-75g per use, with a few exeptions like healing it to full when it is about to die. this way, the smaller minion will die out and prevent you from any loss of creepscore in the next wave.

One siege minion is able to kill about one regular creepwave on its own.

The "5 promote" comments is about what it used to do before it changed. It used to convert any minion into a super tough "siegerider" minion. The 5 of them (everyone on your team used it at the same time) could easily push mid and destroy the turrets by level 6 with the enemy barely being able to put up a fight against them, because they were so tough. Riot removed it at that point and then gave it back as it is now.

This spell is kind of useful when doing solo queue as a support if your carry ditches you for another lane or just roams between them(I have had that happen many times) you can still push your lane half decently with the minion.

My standard choice of a spell, it can ensure a push, it can be used at the game's start to give some extra last hits, it can put a dent on turrets at first and even force a champion to retreat/recall early game because he took the damage to protect the turret, even under the turret. And it can push an empty lane or even turret while the champs are teaming it out or you push another lane(s) as a team.

From the "5 promote" comments, i get it stacks? Never tried THAT.

I like Promote because you can still semi-lane while not being in your lane :p I do agree that it needs a lower cooldown though. Maybe... 150? :)

Promote is probably the worst summoner spell in the game right now :P
