Posted a Comment: Jun 13th, 2023 "I don't like blind picking Rakan because of how counterable he is by both the enemy support and ADC (Something like Morgana with a Vayne who can tumble away would be awful), but if the roaming is going to be good, it could be worth it anyways. And yeah my guide is pretty out of date at this point"

It's enough he can create some space for his ADC with the threat of its damage instead of just being a punching bag for mages (and old kleptomancy users) like he used to be."

He doesn't have anything that provides him with natural survivability in his kit; he's built around setting up his teammates.
