Now that I read your second reply, I was indeed wrong because you changed a BIG detail in your problem!
Did you read your own texts? You start by saying that it crashed your computer and now you say that it crashed your browser? That is a complete different thing. If you would've said from the start that it was your browser that crashed, you would've gotten a different answer from him! Instead you said your computer and accused it from being a virus which obviously is a troll answer from some1 who studied IT!

Btw A webpage can never 'house a billion viruses' and you want to know why? Because it simply can't! What you mean is that webpages are being used as a middleware to make the user download a virus from his server onto your pc causing issues in that way! A webpage on its own can never be a virus because the webpage is limited to the browser it runs in. It can't access folders on your pc unless you give it permission.
Yes ofcourse a webpage can make your browser crash, but it can't make your pc crash!
To end this: You made him delete his code that he wanted to share to 'help' others, instead of pointing him the issue which I would actually want to know at this point.

I wish I could get a job in IT, it's been too long and I didn't finish college :/ I taught myself from the ground up, on my own. I've never had my pc crash tho.. but then again most of my stuff is sandboxed in a browser haha. PHP/javascript/html etc. I've done some things with c# and xna but still no pc crashes (knocks on wood)

I bet you're only asking for my age because you're some form of internet sexual predator/child molester/pedophile. I watched a documentary on google about this sort of thing. There was this guy who lived in Kyro who would attract children from the village by leaving a trail of pokemon cards leading up to his white van. Pretty sure what you're experiencing Toshabi is what we in the industry call a PEBCAC problem (Problem exists between computer and chair) And although we'd love to help you with this specific issue - our lives are filled with more immediate issues (I'm almost out of coffee!). I suggest you visit your pediatrician, maybe they can refer you to a good psychologist that can better help you with your issues. Best regards, I hope you get better <3

If you would've known something about webdeveloping, than you would've known that a simple webpage can never make your pc crash!
The worst some html code in combination with some javascript (this case) can do, is crashing your browser. Even if this happens, what doesn't happen because I looked at the code and it is not at all RAM intensive or there is no infinite loop (which usually causes these problems)!
And even if it would happen, your browser will detect that it is crashing and gives that message that it is not reacting and then you can choose to close it or wait. And if this doesn't come up, you can use your taskmanager to shut down the process!
That can only mean that you did not follow his instructions or your pc has problems on its own (old pc? low ram? alot of programs open at that time? virus?)!
