From what I've read, it's character length. I've written a new build for Jayce, but it classifies it as a guide despite me not going in depth to the champ themselves. Most of my text was explaining the build itself. Is there a way I can manually classify a build instead of a guide? I feel what I wrote is more akin to a build than a guide so I'd rather have it be labeled as a build.

To qualify as a full guide, you need to have a complete cheatsheet (summoners, runes, masteries, skill order and at least one item set) and a minimum of 5000 characters in the body of the guide, including BBcode. Your guide is well over the character limit so it qualifies as a full guide.

I don't believe there's any way to manually change where your guide is listed, but there's really no downside to being a full guide. You basically just show up higher in the listings or aren't filtered out by readers looking for full guides.
Thanks to Janitsu for the sig!
