I feel like the spell blade isnt needed. I understand that this maokai guide is an offtank guide, but most of the tanky items are in your optional section, not your core item section. The core item build is way too squishy even for an off tank.

@Trophycase: If you think you wont get enought farm, you can take 1-2 hearts of gold for sure. but i think if you do well you wont need em.



@Reamer: its not just a roaming build, but it shows a way how ppl can do it. I think you know that roaming isnt a lets say easy thing to explain because much is done individually and depends on what happens on the lane.

For sure chu8 takes mid, i know this, but in reality, in elo hell you never will get a mid lane with maokai so thats why i did not mentioned that. But i will consider to bring this point in the next update.


EDIT: Thanks for the suggestion, i reworked the guide a bit and putted in a solomid description, added some items for a better roaming and added Moonflair Spellblade because with Sorcerer's Shoes you wont get Tenacity

pretty nice guide, don't think Rabadons is necessary unless you want to get melted by most champs =(

why would you level saps before twisted Advance, if your hoping to gank when roaming,

and also chu8 doesn't roam he take mid lane or he doesn't play mao, i also requmend you toss 3 sap in to the other teams wraith camp so you get 3 cs before the game starts


you have inspired me to wright a guide on this if this is how ppl think its done, there is alot more to roaming then just trying to gank, i feel some one using this guide will problem have problem understanding what there trying to do. they way you put it is closer to the way Eve roams with chu8 maokia build

I feel like if you are going to roam, you really need some gold per 5 items
