Part of the reason these things keep failing is both trolls and overenthusiastics continue to find ways into the threads and chop them up ruin the flow and make things awkward or God mode etc etc.
Which is unfortunately something that seems entirely impossible to avoid. :P
I'm fully willing to give it another go, I love these things, been doing them since I was like 10 years old, but it does seem realistic to assume that it could be difficult to make it all work after our previous endeavors >:P

I say we hold roleplay battles.
Meet up in game with specific champions and roleplay epic and ancient battles in different situations. For example:
NOTE THAT THE LONGER YOU TAKE THE LESS FARM TIME YOU GET! - NO BLUE / RED / BARON BUFF ALLOWED UNTIL SPECIFICALLY TOLD IN THE PHASES
(0:00 - 15:00)Phase 1 - The frontal assault. All mid vs. All mid.
Commanders take the battle straight on, fighting for dominance over the first blockade/checkpoint, whatever. The first one to destroy the first turret and/or kill the entire enemy team in mid wins the first phase. (You are not allowed to return to the lane if you died, dead is dead and you can fight again at the next phase)
-Break to 15:00, tactical discussions, free farming in jungle and lanes, no killing/harrasing-
(15:00 - 20:00)Phase 2 - Sneak and Peak. Three vs. Three at mid. Two vs. Two in the jungle.
As the main commanders hold off the frontal assaults, two asassins/ninjas (whatever) try to hit the enemy from behind. (The first to kill both ninjas in the enemy jungle and/or push one of the other lanes and destroy the first tower within 5 minutes wins.)
-Break to 20:00, tactical discussions, free farming in jungle and lanes, no killing/harrasing-
(20:00 - 30:00) Phase 3 - Mexican Standoff. Three vs. Five in mid. Winners of phase 2 get a ganking oppertunity.
If you won phase 2, you get to hide out of line of sight from the mid team. One need to engage between 20:00 to 25:00. The one who won phase 2 gets the element of surprise. Whoever wins the actual team fight and scores an ace (or all simply died) gets to push an extra turret to base. Whoever wins this gets Jungle farm clearance and whoever loses this only gets to farm in lane.
-Break to 30:00, tactical discussions, free farming in lane, jungle farm for those who won Phase 3, no killing/harrasing-
(30:00 - 45:00) Phase 4 - Battle of the Gods. Five vs. Five standoff at Baron.
Whoever won most phases so far gets to decide: engage baron or engage the team that starts the fight with baron. If you manage to get the Baron buff you win part 1 of this phase. Whoever loses the Baron buff gets all four mini buffs (red and blue) for their team. Both are allowed to go back. The second part is dragon, whoever wins Baron gets to decide once again who engages the fight with Dragon.
If you win at both Nashor and Dragon you get to push an inhibitor in one of the lanes to your liking. If you only win at one of these, you will have time to 45:00 to get an ace on the enemy.
Note that in order to win the buff you must have fought the entire enemy team and have killed them at the buff itself.
-Break to 45:00, free farming, tactical discussions, no jungle farming, skirmish kills allowed-
(45:00 - end) Phase 5 - Final Push.
Both teams pick a champion to fight another champion in one to one combat. Whoever wins gets the first push on the enemy base. The team that won the standoff must push the enemy base and attempt to get an ace on the enemy team, if done, they are allowed to end the game in their favour.
If you do not manage to get an ace, therefore not allowed to destroy the enemy base, you must return to your remaining structures in the furthest pushed lane and try to defend your own base. If you manage to get the ace and not the attacking team, you once again get to push their base.
If you fail to end the game after an ace, you are to return to your base to defend your own.

I'm so up to do a RP about League of Legends. As I read, there is a lot of LoL role players who likes to god mode, maybe we can set up rules and warn them if they get too much god like, or we can do some RP samples so we can see if they are serious role players or just trolls.
I read your post Fictionized, it isn't a bad idea, but it seems complicated and there isn't any place for RP in the sense that it has a story line... We could always work on this idea and set up for a private RP in game even though it isn't a game meant to allow RP in it. (and it don't allow place for support D=)

There has been official roleplays for the introduction of Irelia, and Maokai as champions.
Yeah, I knew about those, but those aren't the kind of roleplays I had in mind. I was more imagining a long story that we invented ourselves, that existed outside the Fields of Justice or the Institute of War. Not exactly League Judgements and such, but more like classic roleplaying :)
