I love this build; I use it constantly and surprise people with Poppy's potential to wreak havoc. Would love to see it updated and get more insights on Poppy.

Great build! I'm almost always 1st or 2nd in my team :)

I destroy people with this build. My match history is 9/10 wins/losses. I'm only level 20 and I usually play with a group of 30's. This build really worked for me, simple and effective.

Thanks for the guide

I am a killing machine with this build, but I did do a tad bit of tweaking. I do go Boots and IE but, then I buy Zeal and go Sanguine blade for the lifesteal and AD. I finish up the Phantom Dancer. And then will just start to pick up crit items ex: executioner, youmuu's...
By the end of the Phantom I can 1 v 3 easily as long as I ult a tank. I usually do about 500-800 damage a hit. I two-hit a twitch :)

I rather enjoyed the build. Got me some really high scores early-late game.

Lol most teams won't play along with that. It's done as a selfish tactic to get more gold since you can cap their mid and your bottom twice... assuming their bot goes after yours. If you're in a random team, you have to really not care about what your team will be typing to do it since most of the time, you get called all kinds of fun names for not playing the game exactly how everyone else plays it.

Trinity Force isn't something you build late game. It's more of a rush item since there are so many components. You run out of space to build it and end up having to save for a while to complete it. I mean, if you're late game with a full build and an extra 1800g, sell that Youmuu's Ghostblade and go to town with a TF.

As for being squishy, Poppy's passive Valiant Fighter should be enough to get you by. The original build had a Cloak and Dagger in it... I forget why I took it out.

I see your point there. And you wouldn't put it in place of Phantom Dancer due to cost. And Stark's gives needed lifesteal.

But what about the Ghostblade? Is there room in your build for Trinity Force after all, by building in in place of the Ghostblade? It's more expensive, yes, but it's a late-game item anyway, not slowing down your core build. (Late for Dominion, that is.) You give up the armor pen and CDR, and in place of the active you get permanent AS/MS boosts of about 2/3 of that active; you also get the Trinity proc and health and mana and AP (same AD) and chance to slow.

I am trying your build, and it's interesting, but it also seems quite squishy due to not building any tenacity, magic resist, or armor. Also I have a hell of a time getting my team to play along with your interesting starting tactic.

Ok so having had a couple of bad games... This new build is really expensive... Also with the changes to gold and xp with the Graves patch, I need to find a balance between this one and the old one.

Gotcha with the base damage. That's what I thought.

Mushing people for 1400+ is great, but that's just one champion. The point of AD Poppy is to be able to take on 2 or 3 and either kill or severely injure all of them. It's a little more intense than "HAHA I MUSHED YOU! Oh **** I gotta run..."

Have you tried the build? You hit for anywhere between 500-700 per swing... per AUTO attack. Not including your Q and E.

I'm gonna play around with a Tiamat today and see what kind of fun I can have =)

Yes it is base, but note it doesn't say 'increases your base attack damage TO 150%'
It reads 'Increases your base attack damage BY 150%'

Thus, putting it to 250%. Meaning if your base was 80, it would increase to 200 on your next attack, not 120.

I was simply saying having that proc, and your q at the same time is ridiculous, because you can hit 1400-1600 on squishies.

I didn't know that Sheen and Trinity Force only proc your base AD. And before I go assuming anything, your base AD is just your AD per level, not including items, correct?.

Trinity Force and Infinity Edge is too expensive together. Swapping IE for a TF defeats the purpose of this build.

I've been tweaking the order after Infinity Edge with some pretty good results. I'll be sure to update the guide as soon as it's a little more solid.
