ROM flashing, maybe. (basically changing OS)

The battery became the deciding factor.
I'll be getting a new Nexus S.
Galaxy Nexus's screen and CPU put it at roughly half the battery time of Nexus S during heavy use.
That is huge to me.

Now I can choose between getting my money back or getting a new phone.
Should I "upgrade" to Galaxy Nexus or keep my Nexus S?
Nexus S
Galaxy Nexus
Main features:
Nexus S vs Galaxy Nexus
Screen: 4" 480x800 vs 4.65" 720x1280 with better black (u know; nigga ppl) and viewing angles
CPU: 1GHz vs 1.2GHz*2 (dual core)
RAM: 512MB vs 1GB
GPU: same on both (pretty strong)
Camera: pretty much the same, but 1080p recording on Galaxy, compared to 480p on Nexus S
Battery: is bound to be better on Nexus S. Especially under heavy use, because of the HUGE screen on Galaxy.
Price: 328€ vs 602€
I'm leaning towards Nexus S because it's so smooth and fast already. The main reason I'm considering the Galaxy Nexus is HD movies playback. Using Mobo player I often have to switch to fast SW decoder on Nexus S, which drops the quality a little.
Is there a good movie player that reads h264 (and other good formats) and uses GPU acceleration instead of CPU? Because I've heard that Mobo uses CPU and that GPU might be better.
