Sometimes you lose more LP on a loss than you gain on a win, based on your MMR and the "ideal" MMR for your tier and division. That could be happening. Pay attention to your LP after every ranked game to see what's happening to it.

He was referring to losing more LP on a loss than he gains on a win, and told us to lolking him for proof that he has won more matches than he loses.
This is completely normal. If your elo doesn't match your division, your LP gains/losses will be "adjusted" to nudge you towards promotion/demotion.
If you have a higher chance of winning, and you win, you get less points.
If you have a higher chance of winning, and you lose, you lose more points than normal.
If you have a less chance of winning, and you win, you gain more points than normal for overcoming the odds.
If you have less chance of winning, and you lose, you don't lose as much because statistically you had less chance of winning.
That's basically the LP system in a nutshell. There's a few videos on the League of Legends system, but you could do the research on the Starcraft 2 Elo system and pretty much get the same idea.
