So I have a bunch of new things coming in including a new gaming laptop. I want to know if the specs would allow me to stream at a decent enough quality that would be enjoyable to watch.
Here they are:
- Processor: Sager - 4th Generation Intel® Haswell Core™ i7-4700MQ
- Graphics Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 770M 3,072MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11 w/ Optimus™ Technology
- Ram: 12GB - DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (3 SODIMMS) (SKU - S4S433P)
- mSATA SSD Drive ( Slot 1 ): 128GB Crucial M4 mSATA SSD
- Primary Hard Drive: 750GB 7200RPM [Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache]
- Wireless Network: Sager - Bigfoot Networks Killer™ Wireless-N 1202 + Bluetooth 4.0 (Dual Band)
- Camera: Built in 2.0 Megapixel Camera
- Sound Card: Sound Blaster Compatible 3D Audio - Included
- Operating System: ~Windows 8 - 64-Bit

I'm not really smart when it comes to specs, but I'm assuming those are the most important ones. Can I get some help determining whether or not I can stream? And if I can stream what sort of quality I would expect (lower in game graphics // lower stream graphics).
Thanks a ton!

EDIT: Here are my speedtest results: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/2846490427

Seems fine. Head over to speedtest and post the results.

Will you be using OBS or XSplit?

Easily, lol. You should check your internet speed though, I think you need about 3 mb upload speed to stream HQ.

Your internet speed is fine, so yes you can easily stream with that setup.
