Hello guys,i have a little question.
I started to play this game almost a year ago,but due to school and stuff i havent managed to play the game little more than 2 matches a week, which is obviosly not a lot.Recently i started to play more often, and started to watch streams, tournaments and such.I can say that i mostly play this game for fun, atleast i started with such feelings, but as the time passed my expectations grew higher and higher. With only 285 wins, and 15 ranked wins i cant,or i shouldnt expect more than bronze 2,in which im currently in,but my expectations are higher. So what im asking of u is to tell me what should i do in the future, tell me is there a general thing that every bronze player should do to get to silver or something above bronze,or should i expect myself to get higher next season if i step it up.I really like the game and i dont intend to stop playing it,and i would like to join you guys in silver or above and dont wear the label called Bronze noobie .

play hypercarries or BS tier champs and carry like a mofo, I would also say, don't pay attention to counters in bronze they don't have that big of an effect, unless it is an absolutely impossible match-up counters don't matter, be positive and don't flame, try your best and finally and this is really important since most bronzies don't do this: WARD, wards win games man.
If I have helped in anyway at all a +rep will be appreciated lots
Thanks to LaCorpse, Hogopogo and JhoiJhoi for the amazing sigs

We could have a thread we could link people to or something. This question pops up often.
Anyways, I'll give you my few pennies;

1) Carry your team
2) Be prepared to take a lane you're not good at
3) Be good at playing few good champions
4) Try to go for ~80cs in 10-15 minutes
5) Objectives > kills
6) Positioning is the key to victory
7) Have wards
8) Be the shotcaller
9) Learn when you can win trades
10) Generally just lead the team and mind your own business. Don't get into fights.

There are several things you can do, these are just few that came to my mind. If you are not able to do most of the points like if you go 0/3/2 as AD carry bottom lane, you're gonna have tough time carrying your team. If you go 8/0/2 that's when you can pretty much carry your team with proper positioning and shotcalling.

If you go 8/0/2 and you still loose, you're doing something still wrong and ain't gonna climb any further than bronze. Bronze - low silver players lack so much game knowledge and experience (No, do not take this into you. I mean no offense towards anyone here - Just saying the facts).

For even further advices we would need your main champions/roles/summoner page and stuff like that and people who have made it from bronze to higher divisions in your role could explain more.

Ditto.

I'd say supporting actually teaches you the most about trading and positioning/awareness/warding/objective control.

The point is, your score doesn't mean anything in ranked. Making the right calls and teamplaying win games in ranked.

AND DON'T FLAME.

Thanks for the advices, but i pretty much heard all of that, and i suppose i should just keep playing the game to the point i feel more expirienced. As Joxuu said,i think i forgot to tell you this,i mostly play top lane,i can go mid or sometimes jungle, but only as Xin Zhao, and i can go support with Janna and Kayle, sometimes Soraka. So i guess my mains are Zed,Fiora, and Xin i think, and i almost always tend to do good with them, but as for others,i cant brag that im good or even decent,so i think thats the thing i have to improve the most, except mechanics ofc.So i would ask you to tell me something about the adc role,in which im pretty bad,or some good champions for adc role, because i dont know much about it.
Thanks.

I read this: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=1172223&highlight=story+guide. changed my mind about what I should focus on. I know the post's dated but it's still pretty accurate and useful in broader lines. also, I stopped getting angry over losses and just focused on my own play, since that's all I can and need to influence to improve. if it really gets to you, chill out in a few normals or do something else and come back later. there's no use in playing with a poor and flustered state of mind as you'll only risk going down more and making the cycle repeat but worsen.
