Watched that game live, it was a brilliant pick vs Mundo because of 2 reasons:
1) Poppy deals hybrid, %hp damage which means it's incredibly hard for him to tank his damage.
2) Mundo doesn't have the early game pressure to abuse poppy's weak early game
3) Millenium isn't comfortable laneswapping because they lack strategical play causing them to essentially force advantageous lanes.
