Not really sure what it means when it says "When you deal more than 50% or more of target's HP in damage", makes it sound like you can wipe out half their health in one hit...?
Q - would be pretty hard to get 25% of their health unless you're fed!
W - I'd imagine I'd be hard to hit anyone with that especially since there are no nearby walls in mid lane, if you want to keep the bounce off terrain thing I'd suggest being able to throw three by casting again and again, then it goes on cooldown (sort of like
Lee Sin's abilities).
E - I'm guessing these are in a straight line in front of him? Also, for the reactivate thing, how many knives would go out?
R - Neat idea, I'm guessing the knives would fall randomly? Would a red dot signal where each one will land a bit before they come down (like Lux's ult)? And how many knives?

It means that if you deal 50% or more of their CURRENT health in one hit, you get it. Meaning if you last hit the target (dealing 100% of their health in one hit), or hurt an already low HP target.

I'll consider allowing multiple casts of it. It's mostly to make him a dangerous person in junlge fights and to synergize well with his ult.
The knives are in a cone, similar to Wild Cards or Evolved Void Spikes. For the reactivate thing, it's just small knives that hit everyone around him.
The knives fall as detailed, the first line was kinda just for flavor. They fall all at once, damaging everyone in the area. The first set of knives aren't indicated, but the second set is by the already landed knives.

Stats: 450 range, high base HP, low base Attack Speed, high HP/5 scaling
Passive: When Grendal deals more than 50% of his target’s current HP in damage, he gains bonus AP (5/10/15) (Ranks up with Ult Level) for the next 5 seconds. This can stack up to 3 times.
Staggering Blade: Click and Cast that deals (70/100/130/160/190 + 70% AP) magic damage that applies a debuff. If the target takes 25% or more of their current HP in damage within the next 5 seconds, the debuff is consumed and they are slowed 20/25/30/35/40% for the next three seconds.

Trick Shot: Grendal throws a knife in a line that bounces off of terrain until it’s traveled 750/850/950/1050/1200 or collides with an enemy. The knife deals (50/75/100/125/150 + 60% AP) magic damage, plus (20/45/70/95/120) per bounce (+ 40% AP if it bounces). If the knife hits the enemy from behind, it stuns for .25 seconds

Fan of Knives: Grendal throws three blades in front of him with 600 range, each dealing (70/90/110/130/150 +30% AP) magic damage. And enemy may not be hit by more than 1 knife. He may react this ability for an additional cost after a short delay to throw knives all around him, dealing (45/60/75/90/105 + 20% AP) magic damage to anyone within 400 range of him in any direction. He may use the reactivation even if moving, but the initial cast has a cost time.

Blade Cage: Grendal flings knives into the air. After a short delay, all units in the targeted area take (100/150/200 +65%) damage and are slowed for two seconds. A short delay after that, large blades land creating impassible terrain around the target area. Anyone in that area takes an additional (150 + 85% AP) damage. Trick Shot can go into the cage, but it can’t go out.
