Mate, have you even tried out the build? Essence Reaver question, anwser is both, you need it for regeneratig your mana but it also gives you the cooldown to spam your spells just mana regenerating is more needed in the laning phase. The things you pointed out (as disadventages) are differences between standard and my CDR build. And you dont have to take W if you dont want... but i just putt it because i found it usefull.
No, they aren't just differences between "standard" and CDR builds. If you don't care to explain your choices I have no need to change my vote.
And btw, you DO ABSOLUTELY NOT NEED Essence Reaver to regenerate mana. If your mana management depends on item which could be replaced by tons of other items, you probably should be playing someone resourceless.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist are better if enemy team's support is someone who deals quite a bit magic damage or their ADC is someone like Corki
Add Vision Ward to lane consumables
Add other boots as well. Mercury's Treads and Berserker's Greaves are still worth mentioning
Essence Reaver honestly shouldn't be core item. Ezreal isn't that mana hungry, or if he is, you aren't using your abilities efficiently
Bloodthirster and Blade of the Ruined King are pretty much always better than Frozen Mallet and Zhonya's Hourglass
I've never seen any point in taking one point in W at level. There is just no need for it imo and that might cause you to have mana problems
Feast and Dangerous Game are better than Warlord
"+Has charcteristics of Blue and Standard Ezreal." - which are?
Exhaust is a viable summoner spell
Getting Essence Reaver before [trinity force pretty much like wastes Trinity Force's strong peak
Ezreal's abilities scale with AP, they don't deal "AP damage"
In the FAQ you present Essence Reaver as an item which gives you nice amount of CDR and in the guide itself you present it as an item which makes Ezreal's mana sustain problems go away. Which one is it now?
