So I thought it was time for me to say hello as I have been visiting MOBAfire more and more over the last few weeks. Originally I come from Smitefire (where I'm one of the only active veterans around :( (we have another that pops in once in a while) but well that's because of the low population). I also have been on Dotafire for a while when I started to play Dota 2 a bit. I don't think I will be super active here as this site is just more active (and my time is less).

first a bit about myself:
I'm Devampi (and no that's not my real name), I'm 17 years old and from the Netherlands. my hobbies are gaming and for sports I do handball. my main style in music is Power Metal (as some have already noticed), however I do like most music styles (or let's say I don't find all songs out of a certain style horrible)

So now a bit about my MOBA and LoL journey (I don't know which years were which seasons but I'm going to list it by champion):

So I started playing LoL first somewhere just before Zyra came out (1-2 days before I have seen the Jayce log in screen for some days). However I had no idea what I was doing and I played it several times till the rengar log in screen. after that I quitted the game for several years because I didn't understand it. (I believe I was lvl 9 after this)

Around the Thresh log in screen I played this game while my nephews tried to learn me the game. It was without success and I quitted again around Lissandra (ending up at lvl 13 I believe)

After that I left the genre for I believe a year. Until I found smite which I started around a week before it's release. Soon after I started playing it I searched for some basic beginner's guide. I landed upon Smitefire which I eventually ended up joining after several weeks of searching guides. Here I learned the basics of most moba's.

Meanwhile because of several friends I also played some Dota 2 however because I kinda found the isometric view feel boring and slow (the games) I didn't play it really long.

After half a year of smite I partly became annoyed by the game. Mostly because of the increase of toxic people in the game. This ended up in something I started to call Solo-queue-phobia. I didn't want to play in solo queue any more (I just didn't enjoy it any more) and because of a lot of people I played the game with quitted it I started to play it a lot less.

Some of my friends from Smitefire started playing Dawngate. I really liked it's style and because of this game I started enjoying the isometric view. but then EA killed it. I started looking a bit at LoL more and played a bit when pre-S5 hit (from lvl 13-16).
because some of my irl started playing dota 2 I started playing dota 2 and understand it more I played it till the TI and then got a bit burned out on it and picking up LoL more. (I still played smite sometimes).

Since start this school year I started picking up the game even more because I got more friends to play the game with. I still like to fill more but I now have started maining support a bit, mostly because of Nautilus (and his anchor, the hook is kinda ******** because of the indicator not being right (I do got a small theory why but haven't looked at this in depth really)).

so yeah that's a bit about me and nice to meet you all

(a little bit more about the solo-queue-phobia: it's not that I feared it however I did prefer (and still do) to not play the game over solo queueing. partly because toxic people and partly because with friends over voice chat it's just a lot more fun)
