Thank you guys so much for 1,000,000 views on my Ahri guide, FOXFIRe AHRI HERE. I never imagined that I'd ever get to this point. It's been a long journey. 14 months ago I was hammering away for the creation of this guide, hoping for just a thousand views, maybe a few upvotes, but now it's sitting at the top of Ahri guides. Once again, I'd like to thank each and every 1 million people who took the time to read my guide.
On an unrelated note, I'd like to discuss Ahri's current state. First for some background. For the past year or so, Ahri hasn't been touched by patches at all. She got nerfed a few times after her release, but the changes ended there. The only direct change she received in the last several months, would be that charm no longer resets jungle monsters. lol. However, something that mildly empowered Ahri was the new Deathfire Grasp. The new DFG is incredibly strong on Ahri and gives her some crazy burst. I feel like those are the only 2 even remotely close Ahri changes that have occurred "recently".
Ahri has had a general history of being untouched. In fact, on the forums, you could generally see people asking for Ahri buffs. But within the past week or so, I've dropped by the forums and got completely blown away buy the people demanding Ahri nerfs. Like 40% of the comments were complaining about how Ahri was OP. Why? Because Ahri was being played in LCS and OGN pro tournaments. After alll these months, people are now saying Ahri is OP because some pros can use her well (she only has a 53% win rate in LCS). (I realize not everyone is complaining about Ahri, but i'm asdressing the people that are). In my opinion, Ahri has a really high skillcap which allows her to people to look so strong if played right. That being said, perhaps she actually was secretly OP. If they do nerf her though, it will be very minor. I'd imagine it'd probably be something like increase Spirit Rush cooldown by 10 seconds. Nothing big.
tl;dr Ahri is only "OP" because some pros are doing decent with her. She has a high skillcap which allows for high reward. She hasn't been touched patch-wise for over a year and if she does end up getting nerfed, it will be very minor. She is pretty much balanced.

Yep, she's pretty fotm right now. But in the past, champs that are fotm don't get out of fotm unless they get nerfed. Examples of this are olaf, rumble, jayce, hecarim, or any champ that was once popular at a time. Unfortunately Ahri is almost at that popularity point haha, definitely wouldn't like seeing nerfs on my favorite fox
