Introduction

Sup! This is my very first guide on the champion Jayce. Jayce excels at dealing massive amounts of damage Late Game. This is why you should focus on farming well. I hope you learn something from this guide.

Why Jayce?

Pros:

- Tons of damage
- Ability to take out tanks alone
- Able to carry team (provided team protects you)

Cons:


- Low range cannon form
- Squishy
- Uses TONS of mana

Runes

The runes we take for Jayce are pretty self explanatory.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage

Greater Seal of Armor

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage

Flat AD Marks and Quints for easy farming and good poke damage early game.
Flat magic resistance for the early game or scaling magic resistance for the late game.
Flat armor is a MUST have to survive the top lane.

These masteries are also self explanatory.
You take the 21 masteries on Offense to deal the highest amount of damage you can.
The 9 masteries in defense are so that you can survive the early game in lane.

Spells

You take Flash to escape ganks or to finish someone off out of range.
You take Ignite to aid in the damage to kill someone.
Ignite also reduces healing effects by 50% (reduces life steal effectiveness).
