Fighters and bruisers are extreme threats against this build because it is designed to survive burst, not win extended trades. That is not to say there isn't outplay potential against fighters!

Lulu can shut down assassins while protecting and buffing her ADC.

Champion Build Guide
This is my first guide on MOBAFire, so excuse any hiccups and suggestions are welcome!
This build started off as a sort-of troll build in a game where I was up against three AD assassins. I decided to go full armor after my damage items, and as the game went on, I realized how strong the build was (here is footage). I began picking MF into assassins in order to test this build with high rates of success, and even told my friends about it who tried it out in their games to yield similar results.
IMPORTANT: The primary goal of this build is to survive burst/assassins. Although this build deals damage, it is NOT the optimal damage-dealing build for Miss Fortune. I would only recommend this build if you are facing two or more burst champions.
If you are running Press the Attack, a good trading combo is auto-q-auto, which is the fastest way to proc the rune.
After your first back, you can look for more aggressive trades with Serrated Dirk. Landing a good Double Up bounce can chunk your lane opponent.
If you are running Overheal, then Vampiric Scepter should be your first buy. This item and rune combination synergizes extremely well with your Strut passive, because the constant shield allows you to maintain the movement speed bonus despite taking damage from minions. Vampiric Scepter also gives you better sustain should you take a heavy trade.
Always keep an eye on the minimap for the enemy mid laner and jungler. If they are not showing, assume the worst and keep a safe position in case you get ganked.
Mid to Late Game: Obtaining Eclipse will be your first big power spike. That said, you will still be very vulnerable to assassins. The shield and movement speed you gain from Eclipse's passive are usually not enough to help you survive a full combo from someone like Zed or Talon. At this point in the game, you still want to play as safely as possible. Continue to focus on farming and take fights when objectives are up. Otherwise, try to stay away from enemy assassins.
Once you obtain Death's Dance is when the "anti-assassin" component of this build really comes into play. This item is extremely strong against AD burst champions and will allow you to take fights with more confidence.
Picking between the Lifeline items ( Sterak's Gage and Maw of Malmortius) will be up to you. In most cases, Sterak's Gage is favorable since its shield blocks all types of damage.
Your final items will be completely situational. Silvermere Dawn can help you escape getting caught out. Zhonya's Hourglass can prevent you from getting piled on. Black Cleaver is extremely strong with your ult and can shred tanks. This build is very flexible and can be adapted to suit your needs in each unique game. As I said earlier, this build was spawned from a place of spite, so do what you need to in order to spite your enemies.
