Hey guys. My name is Aux. I have roughly 2.2k total ranked Udyr games played on my main account alone, and I figured I would share some knowledge on a champion that I like to play a lot. I'll be adding more to this guide, but I got the foundation here so far.

There are a LOT of different strategies you can employ with Udyr in the early game because of his versatility and lack of dependence on smite buffs. Many other champions do not have this advantage. I typically like to get both of my buffs and then make aggressive plays. If no lanes are gankable that simply means your laners are winning and the enemy jungle is an easy target. Invades almost always work as Udyr whether you want to assassinate the enemy jungler or just jack his small camps. Always be on the move and try not to use your spells excessively or you will have no mana when you actually need it.

Try to position to set up picks for your team mid game. One mid game pick with an Udyr on the team can easily lead to dragon, towers, or even baron. The thing about Udyr is that if he gets on top of a target they are going to be shredded and die. To facilitate that you need to learn to flash-stun properly. The flash-stun combo on Udyr simply goes like this. Use bear stance and wait for about 2 seconds. THEN flash directly on your target and basic attack them. This allows you to switch to Tiger stance and you have 1 full second to do your worst to them with no retaliation.

Udyr's weakest point is late game. This is the tradeoff you choose to make when you pick a champion that doesn't have a real ultimate. In the late game you want to group with your team and kill the easiest target you can find without abandoning your team. The flash-stun combo is still important to be prepared to use because one pick can literally end the game sometimes.
