Still gonna update the guide bcs of the nerfs in 9.3 on Akali.


I´ll share with you what i learned in over 200 games.


Imo they went too far. Either nerf the shroud or the heal

LVL 1: A few words about the early laning phase.

Don´t get caught lvl 1.

Some guys can easily outtrade you. For example: Pantheon, Darius, Udyr..

Use Shurikens on your opponent to activate her passive and zone.

LVL2:

As soon as she reaches lvl 2 Akali get´s a huge powerspike.
Use that momentum to get lane dominance over your opponent.

Lane Dominance means zoning, winning trades and outfarming.

Best case scenario: You get first blood.

Here is a basic Combo for new Akali players

-Shuriken

-Activate passive

-AA, Shuriken, Shroud,

Repeat

Tip: Dont be afraid to use flash to survive but try combining it with your passive so you get an edge in case he flashes after you.

90 % of the time: Akali First Blood. (other 10% are pantheons or lvl 2 ganks. X) )

If the early laning phase went well, there is nothing that will keep you from snowballing.


LVL 6: use the basic combo described in the previous chapter to choke some hp.

--> The next stept would be to wait for some energy.
--> When you find a good Oportunity (f.e. he tries to last hit, you have a minion wave in your back or your jungle is coming), use the full Akali kill combo described here:

Shuriken, Ulti(act. passive), AA,E,E, Shroud, AA, Shuriken, Ulti, (if he somehow still alife) Flash autoattack.

I know this is not something you can pull off as a casual Akali. He will try to dodge or trade back. But if you get used to her mechanics, it will come off naturally.

Tip: After you hit someone with your Ulti, he is stunned for a short duration. In that Time you can either place a safe AA for some dmge or attach your e to him so that he wont get away.

Push your lane and wait for the perfect moment to teleport botlane. If everything goes as planned, you should now be behind your enemys, leaving them with two options. They can either try to kill your botlane, or they can try to cc you and run away(either into the River or to their tower). Try to FOCUS the AD´c.

NOTICE: The adc is not as tanky as your Toplaner. Also by focusing the adc you denie him a lot of money since he wont be able to farm for a few minutes.


You don´t have to use the same combo.

Here is a perfect scenario

Teleport, Shuriken, Passive/AA, Shuriken, Ulti e, e, AA, Ulti.

Adc´s are not tanky. You can Use the ULTI, E combo. It´s way safer. Even if he flashes, reactivating your e will make sure that he doesnt get away. Taking a dragon is also an option.

Just don´t use the ulti wrong. If you miss him and he flashes away it could be hard to catch up.

I could write pages about this Topic. For now i will keep it short though. Teamfights are fast paced so here a few things you should try to achieve.

-Kill People
- Win time, Zone, bait ultis (Shroud, Hourglass, e)
- Deal Dmge
- Hunt down carries

Note: Your ulti is not a good engage for teamfights.

Better use it to finish off adc´s while teamfighting. By using the Ulti as an engage there is a high possibility, that it will isolate you.

On the other hand you will isolate the Adc if you safe it for a while.

Win teamfights, take objectives, assassinate/ambush

Akali is not a good splitpusher.

This is actually a reason I wouldn´t consider her broken. You will notice, that clearing waves consumes a lot of time and energy. Shes good at killing people and it´s best to play her that way.
