Introduction

Imagine a support with the disengage of Janna, the poke of Zilean, the burst of Annie, and the sustained damage of Heimerdinger. That is why Zyra is my favorite support. She offers all these things, as well as a decent engage and some wonderful teamfights.

Pros / Cons

Pros
-Extremely strong laning phase
-Good poke and all in
-Provides enough damage to get kills on her own
-Enough of a threat in lane to take the responsibility of poking away from your ADC, letting them focus on farming
-Can easily proc all charges of Spellthief's Edge

Cons
-Squishy
-Low mobility
-No sustain
-Naturally pushes lane
