Hello guys!!!!! First off I would like to introduce myself. Lets begin with the fact that I am not an amazing player I am only in gold tier so take what I say with a grain of salt. I can say that Twisted fate is probably my most played mid-laner in this game and I would consider myself very inclined with him. Please do keep in mind that this is my first guide so it will probably be sloppy but I do apoligize in advance. I love to teach people and I really enjoy teaching players about league so this is kinda hobbie of mine and I do hope I don't disappiont you guys!

Welcome to my starter guide to Twisted Fate! My user name is Jkkool and today I will go into every little detail that I personally know about Twisted Fate(from when to pick him, match-ups imo, build paths, skill distribution, and how to win/carry games with him.) First let me tell you all a little secrect about the master of card games.....no it's not yugi-moto ok? A lot of people I know that are in lower elo's than me complain about how they can't carry the game because all their lanes do is feed. Well Twisted Fate is a god at winning his lane and other peoples lane as well! I will go into more detail about this later but for now let us begin!

Levels 1-5
Start with your w and try to get some blue card trade on your favorable match ups.
If your match up is rough then just farm with blue card till 2 and poke with q.
Once you hit 3 you can get a pretty nice burst combo off with a e proc up,gold card, and Wild cards combo (E,W,Q)
If you need to clear waves and mana isn't a issue red card with q is amazing for that.
Continue to max your q and play the lane reactivly.

Level 6-9
Look on the map as soon as you hit 6.
Do you see an enemy laner pushed up? Well shove your lane and start to roam up.

If your enemy laner trys to follow you they lose cs and exp to tower and their tower takes

damage. If not you get a free roam and map pressure

You don't see a enemy laner pushed up? Shove the wave anyway and hid in the fog of war. What

this will do is make your enemy spam mia and tilt the enemy team. And the one time you do

gank they don't listen to that mia.

Max out your q and just try to get tower damage with blue cards as much as you can.

Oh and please for the love of god DO NOT!!! use your ult just to get back into lane that is

a waste of your potential and you ult cast is telegraphed so everyone knows the cooldown.

As Twisited Fate I shall give you two roles to fill and if you can do both in one game you

should be golden!

1: AP assassian. Try your very best to get a flash gold card on one of the carries of the enemy

team. If you land a gold card with Lich, E, and follow up with a q you should almost instagib

them and if not they will be out of the fight for sure and your team can engage.

2:Team Peel. Take the time to think of more than just yourself when you play TF.

If the enemy team engages peel for your adc. Your gold cards are amazing for that

and they also bring damage! so if you gold card a Xin and your adc lets loose on him

I would hope he would die before he can escape or kill one of you.

When it comes to late game one thing can lead to a loss. Try your best to not get caught but

try to find openings with your ult and zhoynas to make plays for your team.

When you ult in the enemy team will probably stack on your location. As soon as you land

Zhoynas! Congrats you just learned what is called the "Misaya" (Look him up on youtube)

Also don't be afraid to use your ult as a split-push tactic just be sure to not get caught.

A good thing to keep in mind is that your blue card does the most single target damage of all of your cards. With that being said if you are just going for insta damage just blue card and not gold card them.Also use blue cards on towers and other objectives other than inhibs(You can't use pick a card on inhibs)

Your damage values are (Blue = Most. Red = Middle, Gold = Least)

When you get a card you desire and you locked it in as soon as it showed (Example you want a gold card and you lock it the split second is shows to be locked) When the ability goes off cooldown you can just double tap it really fast and get that card back.(If you didn't lock the first card fast you will just get the next card in the cycle)

When you are going to gank a lane with your ulti a good habit is to use your w to start the cycle of cards. While you begin your teleport to your location you can still lock in the card. Be sure to look at the ability itself to see what card you can lock!

Ok guys I am pretty sure this isn't the best guide you have read but I just wanted to get all of my thoughts of Twisted Fate on the site and see what you guys think!
