Lol, I only just read through the runes section out of curiousity. My god, there are some awful suggestions there.

This might be the dumbest thing I have ever ever heard here on MOBAFire and believe me, that is quite the achievement.

I prefer to use mana runes on Katarina. It's a matter of preference. It doesn't really matter.

Also, 'if you don't like my runes, you have no reason to call them bad'? Dafuq. If I don't like them, I sure as hell do have a reason to call them bad.



I prefer to take all the mana masteries too. I don't care about optimizing my mastery pages either because, apparently, it's all preference.

I don't know if it's just a simple matter of you not being able to read or do maths, but level 1 Bouncing Blades does more damage than level 1 sinister steel (especially with your ****ty starting setup). It's also 100% safer. It also gives you extra damage if you auto-attack (since you seem to play like you get close by starting sinister steel). The question is... why WOULDN'T you take it first?

If I have to point out extremely obvious things like this to you, you shouldn't be writing a guide.



Hey, how about this? YOU do the work instead of US. But as it so happens, we have directed your attention to things that are wrong. This is what is called 'giving insight'. Instead of actually doing any research into why they might be wrong, you just sit around blithering and saying 'none of you are helping'. DUDE. We told you your items, skill sequence, runes and masteries are wrong. Why don't you go do some research as to why this might be the case, instead of sitting on your hands, waiting for us to spoon-feed it to you?

You can't build a Kat pure AD to simple cause her skills do magic damage, you need at least a Hextech Gunblade for spell vamp from Sinister Steel and maybe from Death Lotus, also you are suggesting to build Iceborn Gauntlet on her, look guy its the same thing to build it on a Garen. And you do it two more times suggesting Shurelya's Battlesong and Spirit of the Elder Lizard that gives Mana regen, totally wasted stats. Another bad item you suggest is Blade of the Ruined King, that has no felling with her skills, look that people who build that is people who have AS bonus or some on hit effects like Vayne, Fiora and Vi as well. It appears to be a little waste one time that in Death Lotus or while using your spells you are not auto-attacking.

And the concept off your guide is confuse, your are suggesting her to be an AD bruiser but AD bruiser need to be tank likes, with the point that they will still have good damage like Vi or Xin Zhao. And your masteries and runes don't show this. All not high burst chars that need to enter in the middle of battle build some tank stuff like Morgana or Diana for an example and you are trading your burst for constant damage without picking the survivability from runes and masteries like Juggernaut , Legendary Armor , Honor Guard and Greater Quintessence of Percent Health.

Riot intentionally nerfed AD Katarina because AD and AP Katarina play exactly the same way. They said so on her release publically. Ergo, AP Katarina deals more burst damage than AD Katarina.

But if you want the most out of AD Katarina, stack four Bloodthirsters somewhere with your Sorcerer's Shoes and Guardian Angel as Bloodthirster gives the most AD out of any item so long as you don't lose the stacks.

The runes and masteries, I'd still take Greater Mark of Magic Penetration as Katarina does magic damage despite her AD scalings. The rest are up to you, I guess.

First off, runes are a matter of preference, if you don't like my runes, you have no reason to call them bad, I gave many other viable options in the guide.

Second, masteries are also preference and skill distribution is situational. Since this is a top build in most situations it's okay to pick W first. However if I'm against a champ like Teemo or Urgot, of course I'd pick Q first, I'd probably also ask for a lane switch or a jungle gank if I didn't want to get **** on.

Lastly, you're just like the previous people, short answers just telling me I'm wrong but giving me no insight on how to improve.

No need to read explanations when you can't even spec a mastery tree correctly or pick the first skill correctly. If the cheat-sheet is wrong, you can sure as hell expect a downvote without anyone reading the guide.

I understand that you don't like the build, but you've given me nothing to work with. From what it seems you just looked at the beginning of the guide, ignored all explanations and didn't read through and was quick to judge. How am I supposed to improve my guide if you give no insight on what I did wrong?



I said in the guide on her skills that her W and her E deal magic damage and scale on AD. I Also said on the items section, under sorcerer shoes, that all her spells are magic damage.

Kat's skills do AD-scaling magic damage, but runes are still incorrect.

I just wanna say that your runes are wrong.Why MP if don't get any ap or simply focus on spells?The same with boots. Your expalanations are also not that good and considering the fact you present a non-common build the should have been much better.

Wrong runes, wrong masteries, wrong items, wrong skill sequence. How the hell are you Gold? Who's carrying you?
