Introduction.

Hello everyone, I'm Polobear. Welcome to my Yasuo toplane guide. This is a AD/Tank hybrid build. Just a heads up, this is purely a build for if you're either snowballing, or you're even against your lane opponent.

Runes

Now, as you can see I take 10% crit in the rune pages, I do this so you have the early edge, farming might be a bit harder but it is easy to get used to. The 10% crit in the runes translates into 20%. I take health per level for the lategame. Health in the late can always help. Flat MR because in toplane there's always a chance either an AP jungler is going to gank. Or you're playing against someone with Bami Cinder/Sunfire Cape.

Masteries

The Grasp of the Undying is purely for melee champs. Do NOT take it if you're against a Teemo or any other ranged champ. In that case take Warlords bloodlust and Dangerous game, oppressor, ETC.

Items

You first start off with Phantom Dancer because 1. It's cheaper, and 2, it gives more Attack Speed. HOWEVER, if you do not have any wave clear in mid, take Statikk Shiv, Shiv is always for wave clear, which is mainly the reason why people take Statikk Shiv in midlane.

Skill Sequence

Now, a lot of people ask this on Yasuo, do you max Q, or do you max E. My answer is this. Upgrading Q gives nothing else but 20 extra damage. Maxing E however, gives 20 more damage, more mobility and less cool down. If you upgrade Q it doesn't decrease cool down, it only decreases with attack speed. Also, maxing Q isn't nearly as good as with 100% crit, but by the time you're lvl 13 you've probably just gotten Infinity Edge.
