About the Author.
I study a Masters Degree in Computing Sciences Bio-Computing at University!
I began playing LoL during the sumemr of 2015, and fell in love with how Ahri works, her artwork, skill, and the amount of potential she has to carry a team early on.
In the season I joined LoL (S5) I only achieved S1 rank due to a lot of home-responsibilities. During S6 I began to play LoL a lot more, and found that my main champion pool was MF, Ahri and Zed. I am now Platinum rank and still climbing!
Ahri is one of the most dominant champions in the Middle lane, with great roaming tactics and the ability to escape quite easily after getting a sneaky or obvious kill. Ahri is undoubtably the most fun champion to play, you can R straight into a group of 3 low Hp champions, charm one, Q another, W all three of them, dance around, flash your Mastery emote, and leave with 1000g.
Ahri is also very hard to lane against, there are few champions that can counter her due to her mobility and early poke from AA and True damage from Q-drawback. Blind picking Ahri is never a bad option between Bronze and Platinum.

During the first few waves, you can push, because you shouldn't expect a gank until you're at least level 3, and by this time you have your Q and E. I've found that when I'm ganked Pre-6 that I usually come out of top because of the scaling damage that I can do, and they usually run off or get a respawn timer. TRY Your best to stay in lane with a slither of health until you have at least 40 CS unless you're against Fizz / Zed / Lb / Syndra - They will dive you.
The reason I say this is because you will fall behind very early if you cannot back and get ATLEAST Aethar's Whisp and Boots. Rush NER As soon as possible and preceed to Ludens. At this point you can go wild with damage.
For Minions, you will be Auto-Attacking most of the time (Last hits). For waveclear - Pop Q and W simultaneously and Auto-Attack until you complete the wave - Rinse and Repeat. Most of the time though, you want to just Auto-Attack for Mana Regen.

Ahri has the prettiest and one of the most fun skill sequences; I do this...
IF They're Far Away / Running: R - E - Q - W - R - E - Q - W - R; If they're not dead then you missed something or they're tankier than you thought.
If They're Close / Engaging: LAND YOUR E - Q - W - R - Q - R - W - Q; Your ultimate should only really be used to make a gap for yourself if they're scary and on this should not be used to pump out as much damage as possible- If they're engaging, they're confident that they can kill you. So be smart, be Ahri, be Maexxqt :)

COMPELTE YOUR LUDENS BEFORE ANYTHING.
Boots should be bought in conjunction with Whisp only + Pots if you need. I cannot stress enough how important Luden's echo is to you - and watch your stacks.
Void Staff should only be bought if they're stacking MR, or have a very tanky team.
My Purchase Order (Normally) - Ludens - Boots - Morello - Abyss - Rabadons - Void Staff / Rylais / Lichbane
