Akali is one of the best champions if you use her AP!
Even though it's a bit hard to master she gives nice results later on!

There exists an ancient order originating in the Ionian Isles dedicated to the preservation of balance. Akali is one of these shadow warriors, entrusted with the sacred duty of Pruning the Tree - eliminating those who threaten the equilibrium of Valoran.

A prodigal martial artist, Akali began training with her mother as soon as she could make a fist. Her mother's discipline was relentless and unforgiving, but predicated on the fundamental principle: ''We do that which must be done.'' When the Kinkou inducted her into the order at the age of fourteen, she could slice a dangling chain with a chop of her hand. There was no question - she would succeed her mother as the Fist of Shadow. She has had to do much in this role which others might find morally questionable, but to her it is in service of her mother's inviolable doctrine. She now works with her fellows Shen and Kennen to enforce the balance of Valoran. This hallowed pursuit has unsurprisingly led the triumvirate to the Fields of Justice.

- Squishy melee
- Countered by CC/focus/oracle's elixirs
- Not easy to master

I use this because it gives you some nice magic penetration to deal more damage in game.


I use this because it gives you some ability power for the start that combines with your passive.


I really recommend this because with the other runes and your passive it combines perfectly well.


This is something you really need for akali because with 3 of this you already have 15 AP and with the other runes you will have like 25 AP at the begining.

Akali's passive is what makes her a viable hybrid. She gains bonus magic damage from AP and spell vamp from AD. With flat AP runes, Brute Force and Doran's Blade, both buffs will be activated at level 1.



This is Akali's main damaging ability. Max it first. Use it to harass early game. Whenever it's safe to fully engage, wait until the cooldown is up to burn the first mark and afterward use it again for a double auto attack double mark burst. Deals tons and tons of magic damage, fast.



This is Akali's stealthing ability, unique in that it is the only stealth that activates instantly. Use it in a teamfight.



This is Akali's only AoE ability. Use it for farming and bursting. It gets power from both ability power and attack damage, but only does physical damage.



Akali's ultimate is what defines her. You can do so many things with this ability. Start off a surprise gank with it, last hit that about to die creep, chase and kill steal like a pro.

You must have this because akali doesn't have a good way to get out of trouble. With flash you can escape through walls and if you have your activated you can easily escape.



This is great for akali because it gives you 10 AP if it's in CD. It also works very well with great escapists or maybe you can reduce the amount of healing of an enemy champion when it's active.

Exhaust, Ghost, Teleport can all be used with great effect.

This are very useful because the give you movement speed, magic resistance and also reduces Crowd Control effects on you.

You will need this because it gives you some nice HP and AP and also your abilities slow enemies.

This is one of the best items! It gives you Tons of AP.

This is very useful for akali because it gives AD, AP, Spell Vamp. and Lifesteal to combine with your abilities.

This is what you need for akali because it gives some nice Magic Penetration and AP.

Akali is a perfect assassin, she can get fast kills, chase and deals tons of damage. I hope you use her many times and master her!
