I copied his runes and mastery but I changed items. So I give credit.

I'll have to check. But since she is a burst damage machine you have to wait until the tank initiates and everyone has used there skills and come in for the swoop. That's how you'll make your stacks.

I agree, drop the snowball item they aren't very efficient unless you can maintain your stacks, very risky for a character that will be focused if the opposing team has any clue what they are doing. You also might consider starting with the long sword for the spell vamp so you can lane longer rather than starting with boots, or if you pick up an AD quin and the AD talents from offense tree you can start with Dorans blade which is more health than from the defense talents plus 4% life steal and your spell vamp discipline, plus you get the 5% magic and physical damage from the offense tree. Give it a shot I'm sure you wont go back once you do.

Yea but it's a big gamble.. You should never expect to be fed.. Having 2 snowball items is always a bad idea..

The snowball items help a lot. If you manage to get full stack your burst damage will destroy them and your base damage/vamp steal will help you live longer. Even if you don't get full stacks it still helps.

The main problem of your build that you make 2 snowballing items in first. This allows to have stacks early if you kill, but you won't have any life or so and if you get focused or play again burst (Ryze/Annie) you should die instantly and lose all of them.

Your build is nice but means a VERY carefully early game (until Rylai at least).

i usually don;t like the snowballing items because you can easily lose all of your stacks in a very short amount of time due to being focused in team battles. And they cause you to play more defensively because you don't want to lose your stacks. However, I think Akali is one of the champions who works great with snowball items, and if you can get above 5 stacks you should be fine. THis looks like a pretty solid build. Good to see a build that doesn't rely strictly on her abilities because she runs out of steam so fast cause her abilities cost so much.
