Introduction

Welcome to my first MOBAFIRE guide. I'm ExcaliburZwei, and I present to you the Alistar Top Laning guide.
Yeah, it's pretty situational. Alistar has been reduced to a support for a while(Not that he's a bad one anyways). This guide will teach you how to deal damage and tank absolutely ANYTHING while you're at it.
I'm open to constructive criticism, if you think the guide is not viable or if it needs a few tweaks, tell me those in the comment section.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

A REAL tank.
Gets unstoppable at late game.
Really hard to escape from due to hard cc from items.
Is a purple bull.
Awesome roaming.
Great initiation.

Cons:

Weak early game.
Underrated.
Can be difficult to play.
Mana Hungry.
Low win ratio.

Runes

Armor Marks and Seals to help him through his lame laning phase.
Magic Resist Glyphs. Why not?
Cooldown reduction Quintessences. The bull needs those, since his cooldowns are fairly long.

Items

Yeah, a Blue Alistar. What else did you expect? All his spells benefit from AP. And really, the bull needs it in order to became the powerhouse you all want it to be. Also, everything is Frosty about it.
