Hi, a really appreciate the ashe support love. She is after all secondary support. I use http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/2-1-seconds-volley-ashe-support-458461 build for mine.
I found the extra gold really helps late game. the CDR caps multishot potential out. and then hurricane and cleaver to armor shred in team fights.

As an Ashe support player myself I'd recommend you try out The Black Cleaver, Liandries Torment and Executioners Callibg as situational Items.
The Black Cleaver is just good on Ashe since she is very good at applying Black Cleaver Stacks. It's very situational ofc and only good if you basically have an all physical team.
Liandries Torment adds the most damage of any Item to your W and it actually adds a lot of damage. This means that Ashe has a lot of poke with just Liandries Torment (and mana + CDR which your guide already has)
Executioners calling is just a necessity against certain enemies and it doesn't hurt if the support builds it. It's upgrade also adds some good bonus damage to your W (and Auto) so it gives you some decent poke.

I do realize that those Items don't add a lot of tankiness so they might not be as useful in a tanky Ashe Support build as in a poke oriented Ashe Support game, but I recommend you try them out.

Just tried this out, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Went 2/2/11 before the enemy team surrendered at 33 minutes. My ADC and I absolutely dominated a Lulu/Jinx lane, getting kill after kill on them, while I set up multiple easy kills for my mid laner with zero effort. The most hilarious part was getting jumped on by Kha'zix in his mistaken belief I'd be an easy kill, and then murdering him. I haven't had this much fun in a long time, and she's definitely going on my list of go-to supports.

EDIT-
I did go for a slightly different build than the guide (in this order):
Eye of the Equinox
Black Cleaver
Mercury's Treads
Frozen Heart
Spirit Visage
Warmog's Armor

Total is about 4200 hp, with a 44 second cool down on her ulti

As far as Equinox vs Watchers goes, I've found that my gold income as a support, from any of the various items, is roughly the same if used properly, and the additional health is most appreciated.
