Champion Build Guide
An Introduction
Having a bad adc who is constantly mispositioning can be incredibly frustrating - so why not become the carry yourself?
Blitzcrank top has been done before by players such as MyPrim0 (https://www.twitch.tv/myprim0, https://twitter.com/MyPrim0), but a lot has changed since s10. With the rise of lethality, it is time to adapt and become more powerful than before.
Your main powerspikes are at levels 2 and 6 and when you get Prowler's Claw
The main combo is Q > W > E > Ignite > Prowler's Claw.
Later on, you can get away with a prowlers > e to set your team up.
Ideally, you do this near or under your tower. It is best to concede lane priority until level 2.
You usually do not go Duskblade unless you are midlane or memeing. Watch out for hard cc and enemy hooks (e.g. Darius E).

EARLY GAME
For an optimal start, solo late invade the enemy topside and try to get a hook on their buff. You do not win level 1s against most champions, especially those who can burn your passive early on. At level 2 you can outtrade most top laners. It is important to know when to push and claim lane priority. Some examples of when you should are:
When the enemy has tp
When herald/dragon is up

MID GAME
Your main goal in the mid game is to split push. Blitzcrank's e allows him to rapidly take towers, so look for rotations on the opposite side of the map from major objectives (e.g. dragon or herald). Spam ults to clear waves faster if you are building muramana.
LATE GAME
This is where Blitzcrank really shines. Try to land hooks on to carries and look for a prowlers-e combo. Try to wait for aftershock to be up before engaging in a teamfight, as it will allow you to survive longer and not waste your passive shield.
Every hook that you land has to be well positioned, as once your e is on cooldown, you have no damage. Your ult is an AOE silence, so it is very important to use it in your cc chains.
