Pros and Cons

Cons:
Squishy beginning and mid game.
Can't do much with bad lane partners.

Runes

For reds I choose armor penetration. This allows GP to take down heavily armored tanks.
For yellows I choose magic resistance per level for some survivability.
For blues I choose critical damage runes, although you can use CD runes.
For Quints I choose critical damage runes, it gives you a big bonus with your Q.

Items

Start off with Brawler's Gloves and 2 health potions.
Next you want to get Avarice Blade, after that get boots.
Zeal is what you get next, this will allow you to run faster without upgrading your boots and gives you more CS and AS.
Next rush Infinity Edge, at this point you will be taking people down left and right.
Next get Phantom Dancer, this gives you more speed, more CS, and more AS.
Next you upgrade your boots to Ionian's, this allows you to use your Q more often, which is very important.
Next is Vampiric Scepter to get some life steal.
Next you get Sheen, this gives your Q a big bonus.
Next is Phage for health slow.
Then Trinity Force.
Bloodthirster
and last but not least, Atma's Impaler.

Now depending on the situation of the other team your last item (if you ever get to it) can change, you could get Hexdrinker for more magic resistance, or Last Whisper for more armor penetration, and Atma's Impaler if you feel you need the armor. Usually I go for Atma's or Last Whisper.

Skill Sequence

Basically just max your Q first, then W, then E, getting your R whenever possible.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust and Ghost is the only way I like it.
Don't let em run away and be sure you can run away.
Your W make's it almost impossible for them to stop you from running away, so make sure you save your W for a sticky situation and then pop ghost and book it!

Game Play

Beginning game, farm as much as you can and use your Q on the champion whenever you can, try to get fed.
Mid game, keep farming and getting kills.
Late game, **** everyone's **** up.

Farming is the key. Even if you don't get fed, if you farm you can still keep up with others and be a carry. Just get through Infinity Edge right away and you're good after that.

NEVER run into the middle of a team fight. When a team fight breaks out pop your ult on the battle ground and go find their carry, and take him/her out. Don't let yourself get focused so never instigate a team fight. ALWAYS come in after everyone else and scope out their carry or carries. After you kill their carry move on to the next squishiest champion.
If their carry is tanky then kill the squishes first.

When fighting another champion run away, let him chase you then use your E then Q on him. Always save your W for when you need it most. If you have to, use your ult to get the kill. Always try to get the surprise on the other champion, if he gets the surprise on you then run away, use your W then Q on him then E then Q again.
Simplified: If you have the upper hand, E>Q>W>Q>R if necessary . If he has the upper hand: W>Q>E>Q>R if necessary. During this skill combo keep using your basic attack on him.
