Welcome to my Brand, The Burning Vengence guide. I'm Plat 4 player on EUNE and I have been playing Brand Support for a while. Brand is one of the supports with the most damages in the game and can burst done there bot in no time! He is so fun to play but you really depend on hitting your skillshots.

Very strong lane phase
Good in a 2v2 situation because of his chaining passives
Stun is easy to land
Good at poking
Loads of A.O.E. damage

These are the standard masteries i choose when i play Brand Support.
Wanderer So you can faster get to lane and support your adc.
Secret Stash So you get more out of your potions and survive longer.
Meditation To regenerate your mana faster because Brand has high mana costs.
Bandit To increase your gold
Precision To penetrate their defence

Unyielding To increase your defence and withstand more damage since you are fragile.
Explorer To explore?
Runic Armor Increase your overall healing since 50 hp is nothing.
Insight Have your spells more often.

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power To gain a little more damage.
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed Movement speed is underrated. This will help you catch up with opponents and helps you escape. It's also a great tool for positioning faster.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration Same as quintessence, no better choices. It will penetrate a little, but it's hard to notice.
Greater Seal of Scaling Health Because you have low health you should take 3x Seal of Scaling Health
Greater Seal of Armor To gain more armor to sustain ad damage.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist Your base magic resist is low and you should take Glyph of Magic Resist to better survive magic damage.

Warding The Map

This is where you and your team should sight ward (PURPLE TEAM SIDE!).
Red: Most important placements for wards.
Orange: Defensive, to avoid getting ganked and caught off guard.
Yellow: Situational Wards
Green: Protect yourself from invasion

Spells

Ignite is the main summoner spell for every midlane. You can add a bit of damage to your combo and, more important, your enemy will get 40% reduced healing effects. Use Ignite or Exhaust Flash is your only escape tool, and can save your life very often. You can also use Flash offensively if you need to reach your opponent for a couple of spell.

I prefer Exhaust because i usally buy Morellonomicon to reduce there healing effects.

Skill Sequence

Blaze (Passive)

Brand's spells light his targets ablaze, dealing 2% of their maximum Health in magic damage over 4 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. When Blaze reaches max stacks on a Champion or monster, it becomes unstable. After 2 seconds it detonates, dealing magic damage equal to 12% - 16% (based on level) (+1% per 60 ability power) of their maximum Health to all targets in an area.

Sear (Q)

Cooldown: 8 / 7.5 / 7 / 6.5 / 6 Cost: 50 Range: 1050
Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200 (+55% of ability power) magic damage to the first enemy it hits. If the target is ablaze, the target will be stunned for 1.5 seconds.

Pillar of Flame (W)

Cooldown: 10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8 Cost: 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 Range: 900
After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing 75 / 120 / 165 / 210 / 255 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to enemy units within the area. Units that are ablaze take an additional 25% damage.

Conflagration (E)

Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 Cost: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 Range: 625
Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 / 150 (+35% of ability power) magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze the conflagration will damage nearby enemies as well and set them ablaze.

Pyroclasm (R)

Cooldown: 105 / 90 / 75 Cost: 100 Range: 750
Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire that bounces between enemies, dealing 100 / 200 / 300 (+25% of ability power) magic damage each time it bounces. It will bounce up to four times for a total of five hits, and can hit the same enemy up to three times. Bounces prioritize stacking Blaze to max on Champions. If the target is ablaze, Pyroclasm will briefly slow the target by 30 / 45 / 60%.
