Ehh gud guide all fancy and stuff :D But I don't like your "Standard" build. In lane you generally either get a Catalyst or you aim for two Doran's. I really don't think you ever would build both as it delays your build by a LOT. (2 Dorans around 1k, 1 Catalyst 1.3k) I think your DFG build should be placed standard, as the early Kage's is what most burst-oriented casters aim to get nowadays. Also imo you should get deathfire right after Raba.

Really impressive. Only found some EXTREMELY minor typos. The combo and matchup sections are pretty much a must-have for any mid-lane champion, and you deliver on them well. No problems with the build, and generally, the guide is in depth and awesome. P.S.:If you took  Brute Force
only for last hitting, why not take 2 points in
 Butcher
and a point in
Brute Force
? 5>3

He's a burst Mage who scales badly into late game, not Karthus or Anivia who get stronger and more relevant as the game progresses. You need the burst to continue stomping and hopefully winning the game before 40 minutes in or so. DFG strong as well though. I wouldn't rush a Rabadon's in favor of Rylai's or DFG however. A lot of his damage comes from base damages, so you don't need the AP from cap so early. Rylai's lets you combo easier, kite and gives you more utility in team fights, while DFG lets you instating people. Rabadon's just makes you do more overall damage. Also, DFG gives you more single target burst than Rabadon's alone.  |
