Finally. A tank build which actually isn't complete shyte, but actually is viable. Well it's actually AP offtank, but I thought I'd seen some serious garbage after Tanknivia, Tankarina, and then a tank mid Shaco guide written by a 800 elo dude. Might as well just choose a random champion, build tank, then slap it on MOBAFire. Brb writing my tank Master Yi guide.

But well, this guide is well thought out, including the jungle start. The build is extremely expensive for a jungler, but there's only one thing I disagree with. Well two things. First is Warmog's Armor. Waaaaaay suboptimal. Second is your health seals. Flat armor would be tons better. Fiddlesticks's Drain does not replenish percentage health, so stacking health is no good on him. A tanky build for Fiddlesticks should simply be piling on the resistances.

Fiddle already has the health buffer from drain, so I wanted to optimize his safety with health. His resistances are already ****, so capitalizing on them would cost more gold than it's worth.

Well the thing is you are already building resistances on him with Abyssal Scepter and a fast Zhonya's Hourglass. And I think you are conceptually wrong about the resistances. D'you know what's called 'effective health'? Simply put, if you have high armor and MR, you take less damage, and hence you 'effectively' have more health. 100 is the mark at which you take half damage, so if you have 2k health and 100 armor and MR, you have 4k effective health. This is very important for Fiddlesticks, because high effective health (high armor and MR) means that the health you get back from Drain is more effective as well. Better than having high raw health and not much armor and MR. For me personally, I'd rather get a Banshee's Veil or even a Sunfire Cape, which wouldn't be completely garbage on him cuz of his passive. Something that combines health and resistances. Maybe even a Aegis of the Legion.

Me not liking Warmog's Armor is personal opinion. I can, however, confidently say you are wrong in picking greater seal of vitality over Greater Seal of Armor - those are pretty much standard issue for junglers, even Fiddlesticks. With them, you not only take much less damage, you also have more effective health gotten back from Drain.

I agree, health is good, but Warmog's Armor is a ****ing expensive item, and flat health is not that good for junglers. This build is quite risky, 3.4k health might seem like a lot, but it isn't. A ranged AD Carry will drop you in seconds, especially someone like Vayne. I tried building flat health on a tank with high base resistances, and it fell flat on its face. Get some more resistances, it will really help.

Health is a ****ty tank stat. If I could downvote it, I would.
#1 NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH STARTING ARMOR. You will get wrecked by the slightest whiff of counterjungling. No armor seals? Nothing in defense tree? consider 9/11/9 masteries.

#2 Your build is way too expensive. As fiddle, you get way less gold than most other junglers, because you really suck at clearing smaller camps. Fiddle doesn't speed up much in the jungle as the game goes on. Warmogs is so expensive. In my opinion, if you get zhonya's really early, why do you need warmogs? You can completely shrug off any focus in a teamfight. You get focused? I'd rather go untargetable than try to absorb thousands of damage at the cost of damage.

^ Lol this guy, I was just gonna mention him. Throatslasher has stated that the best way to build tank is a mixture of health and resistances.

Let me just oversimplify it a lot:

AP: High Damage, Can Get Blown Up, High Health Drained

Armor + MR: Not Much Damage, Won't Get Blown Up, High (Effective) Health Drained

Health: Not Much Damage, Won't Get Blown Up, Low Health Drained

As you can see, raw health is the worst. You generally only go huge amounts of health on someone who scales with health, eg Shen, Dr. Mundo, Volibear etc.

Don't worry, I upvoted the guide. Partly cuz I'm sick of seeing really ****ty tank builds.
