Welcome to my first ever guide ! i am currently in silver II and i have been clawing my way out from Bronze 5. (thanks riot) Soon i will be in Gold. But i got out of bronze and through silver by playing AD carry. You will see most of my guides be on bot lane. I'll do supports and AD carry's. Any way i have played over 80 games as Caitlyn so I know my way around her.

For runes I go with 2 Life steal quints for the sustain and one damage. For marks I had 6 armor pen and 3 damage. I went with armor pen because most support now are stacking armor in their runes. This will help getting lane presence. If the support has too low health to help then have a happy time farming and killing! The full armor seals are debatable. You could go with half armor and half attack speed. just I find her attack speed to be fine early game. You can just test it out and see what you like. And full MR Glyphs because it's just the right thing to do.

I go with the standard 21/9/0 masteries, Nothing special.

I have tried a lot of different build with caitlyn. Including Static Shiv,BORC, and runnan's hurricane. After trying all of them this build is the safest and over all better build. the phantom dance will let you push lanes much faster and the guardian Angel is just a must for team fights. But, what I have been doing recently is getting a Shiv or a Hurricane early then switching to a GA later in the game. Just a thing to think about.

I see a lot of Cait players just completely forget about their W. The W ability is why cait has so much of a lane presence. (yes her rang and poke have a lot to do with it) You will have full control of bushes and you can funnel your enemy's to only going to one spot with your traps. If they want to clear them out then they risk their life, and it should be an easy kill. So just get it first and use them wisely. They burn mana fast, so don't over do them. Other than that just max your Q first and you are on your way to victory

Normal Flash and Heal. Heal is great in this current meta and Flash is just a must.

1. Great poke & kiting potential 1. Hard CC shut her down hard
2. semi global ult for finishing 2. High mana cost
3. Traps for zoning
4. E for better position and escapes

This is more targeted to the ADC role in general. your position is HUGE in fights. Just make sure you use your E to get away from enemy's trying to get you and no matter what if the ADC is in that fight KILL HIM !!! Since cait is such a big lane bully. Farming shouldn't be that hard. Since farming is more of a skill thing there isn't that much I can tell you to help you farm better. It is just a thing that the more you do it the better you will get at it. Go into some bot games and work on it there. Try to get perfect CS while keeping the other BOT at half health or lower. BUT DON't kill it.
