Very well put together, but I would suggest not getting Frozen mallet as you already have rylais (Your AoE makes rylais a better choice anyway). But overall a good build, thanks for posting it!

as shadow palm said you should choose between taking crystal scepter or frozen mallet you should also consider to buy spell vamp sooner or dont buy it at all

I have one main problem with your build.

You are obviously playing sustained damage mordekaiser, but you have 14% CDR, you are using health/level seals instead of armor, you have a Rylai's when you have a Frozen Mallet, and you get your revolver/gunblade WAY too late.

To be effective as Mordekaiser in your build, you need to basically get revolver->chain vest->Negatron Cloak->Frozen Mallet for the slow, then build out your other items.

In a movespeed+slow based build i don't have problems with Sunfire Cape, but keep in mind, you should stay away from tons of health if at all possible.

If Trinity Force wasn't so much more expensive than Frozen Mallet, i would highly recommend it over Frozen Mallet.

If i had to do something, i would replace the Rylai's with an Abyssal Scepter, and the Sunfire with a Frozen Heart, but that's a bit less flashy build.

If i had to directly replace Rylai's, i would do it with Morello's Evil Tome.



Except the health stacking, and no CDR part.

It's pretty shaky in terms of tank, and damage, but it's good for sticking people in the Frozen Mallet slow.



Your AoE makes Rylai's a WORSE choice.

Getting both ensures that you are able to land the frozen Mallet slow, but i fell that with proper positiong, the Rylai's isn't needed.

Whats the point in buying spell vamp so late in game?
Ur seals suck i would rather go for flat armor.
Why in the hell u have frozen mallet its almost useless when u already have ryls

#1: Rylais does nothing because Morde's skills have AoE, so its only 15% slow
#2: Frozen Mallet??? WTF. GO or AP or AD
#3: Sunfire is an early game tank item. The best tank item is RAnduins Omen, destroys any DPS

To all downvoters from above:
Combining Rylai's scepter and Frozen Mallet makes you a CC monster, slowing everything in your path. Once you reach them they'll have to either stay and fight or try to run away and die. Rylai's procs with every Morde ability, when you cast Children of the Grave, your target will be slowed for 10 sec. Frozen mallet ensures that whoever you get your hands on wont get away and can secure a kill for yourself or your team mates.
With this build I dont need a lot of CDR nor early Spell vamp (Hextech gunblade is thrown randomly as another CC tool+heal, the last item is optional, you should choose depending on their team) to be effective. You can get whatever Seals you want, I found both flat armor and hp/lvl to be good, I just prefer hp/lvl because they allow you to cast more.
Sunfire cape combines well with your Creeping Death ability and contributes to your damage.

Please tell me what you didnt understand, I tried to make it as simple as possible, so even newbs can understand it.


And please try this build before you decide to upvote or downvote.

IF you didn't build Gunblade this build would be a LOT worse, it would be pretty much useless tbqh.



In this build, you NEED early spell vamp, because otherwise your laning phase is silly.

Build boots->spell vamp->resists.

HP/lvl < Armor seals. Resists are much better for mordekaiser than health.

You'll do fine with Regrowth Pendants. And the Gunblade isnt a must, you can even get Guardian Angel and you'll do fine. You dont need spell vamp, try the build. I'll record some laning vids later.
Also as I said, you can get whatever seals you want.
