:These are always helpful for that tiny bit of speed advantage in ganks and when you're caught in a bad place and need to run away.

: These are what enable Cho'Gath's immense sustain in the jungle, able to clear the entire jungle in ~3:30-3:40 depending on your leash, these make him a monster both in the jungle, and when chasing down the poor soul you decided to kill.

: Those silly jungle monsters try to beat up Cho'Gath, but we have armor seals to protect us!

: These take Cho'Gath from the 3:45-4:00 realm down into the 3:30 "Udyr Zone".

Overall, this rune setup maximizes jungle speed, and thus sustainability, and also shifts some weight into gank potential.
