Introduction

Welcome to my first champion guide her on Mobafire. Obviously your here to see what I have to say about the new champion to league. First thing I thought I would point out is, hes OP. Really a no brainer but, he does get shut down quite hard if he is focused. (like every champion really) Darius is a big bully and bruiser that can stick to his target really well and I mean REALLY well. My build focuses around sticking to your target and making them rage in all chat because they just cant get away. I hope you guys injoy/like the build. Thanks for voting!

Runes

There is many good rune combos that would work for Darius but, I'll just talk about the ones I use.
[*] I like to take flat AD marks because that extra damage really helps with farming and/or jungle at a good pace.
[*] Armor seals are really helpful against them hard AD solos top and against minions in the jungle.
[*] Magic resist per level glyphs are great late game when you don't have any MR (unless you go with the MR build) and the AP(s) really hurt
[*] For quintessence I like to take AS because it helps stack Hemorrhage fast and makes for a faster jungle. Armor pen. is really nice to because it really helps you hit through them champs with like 239075130345 armor.

Masteries

I like 21/9/0 for the obvious reasons of massive amounts of damage but kinda tanky.

Items

[*] Boots: Mercury's Treads for the cc team or Ninja Tabi for the AD team.
[*] Dps items: Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster are going to be your main source of damage. Getting theses two items will make you one of the biggest threats/sources of damage on your team.
[*] Sticking items: Darius is one of the best champion that can stick to some in the game. In order for him to stick though, you need the right items. Frozen Mallet is GREAT item for sticking to your target and securing a kill. Phantom Dancer is also really good. The movement speed plus slow form Frozen Mallet make you the devil. Youmuu's Ghostblade makes you the over the top sticker. You could stick to someone so hard they would just stop trying to run and take it like a man.
[*] Recap. on sticking items: So we got Frozen Mallet(for the slow) we got Phantom Dancer(for the movement speed) and we got Youmuu's Ghostblade(for more movement speed) sounds like Jesus just arrived. Oh and don't forget Ghost. So lets see, we got 1,2,3,4 things that make you stick to your target, pretty scary if you ask me.
[*] MR items: Wits End and Maw of Malmortius are really good MR items for any tanky AD.

Skill Sequence

[*] Q: Maxing your Q first is the best way to go in my opinion because it does great damage and you can use it to get a kill when someone is running.
[*] W: Your W I like to do second because that extra damage makes you scary.
[*] E: Now E I have been thinking of maxing that second because the armor pen. but I'm not really sure.

Summoner Spells

Ignite: Great with your passive. That DOT is so stupidly good for getting kills when they flash away.
Ghost: love because the sticking power is so crazy
Flash: Nice to have to escape or get a kill after they Flash or jump.
Exhaust: Good summoner, can help u secure a kill or prevent yourself from dieing.

My Normal root for jungling is start wolves, blue, wraiths, wolves, red, then double.
