Introduction

This is my first guide so try not to hate too much. It wont be fancy, completely straight forward. Well as soon as I saw darius I knew I would get him, and dominate. With this guide you have a lot of survivability and also a good amount of damage. Darius THRIVES when enemies are trying to escape. He also will be CRUSHED when he tries to escape, so be wise with your moves. Well enjoy (:

Items

I like to get my Boots first but you can always start with a Regrowth Pendant and then get your Boots. I then get the Philosopher's Stone because of the good regen or health AND mana, plus its a good GP5 item. Then come the Mercury's Treads for all the CC people will want to deal to you. The next part is up to you, you can get your Phage and then your Hexdrinker, or vice versa. It all depends on who you lane against because Phage gives you health and Hexdrinker gives you decent MR. This also goes for which you finish first, your Frozen Mallet vs your Maw of Malmortius. Next its time for some good damage with your BT, DONT FORGET TO GET STACKS, they are very important. Next you should get your Heart of Gold as you can then convert it to Randuin's Omen. Lastly you should convert your Philosopher's Stone to Shurelya's Reverie. If your game isnt over yet, just buy any elixirs you'd like.

Skill Sequence

Hemorrhage is Darius's passive, each time he deals damage to an enemy they receive a stack. With each stack the target recieves more and more damage over time. You can harrass your enemies with this quite easily. Decimate should be your first skill, and also the first you max for two reasons. It has a relatively short cooldown as you go through the game and it IS your MAIN damage putout. Try your best to hit the enemies with the outer edge of this ability as it does signifigantly more damage. For each Champion that Decimate hits, Darius gets a speed boost based on how many were damaged. This can be used as a catch-up or pretty much his ONLY escape mech. I get apprehend second, and max it last, it allows me to try to pull in an easy kill for me and my laner if im doubling or pull an enemy into turret range if im pushed against it. This skill also has a LONG cooldown so do try to land the pull if you use it. This skill also has a nice armor penetration passive. You can also pull an enemy over certain walls and trees, including blue buff. The third skill, and maxed second, Crippling Strike, deals bonus damage and slows. You should use this after you apprehend an enemy, they are too close, or to get some easier minion kills. I max this second because it can do decent damage mid to late game and the slow is helpful aswell. This skills cooldown is also effected by how many Hemorrhage stacks are on your target. If your target has full stacks, the cooldown is very short, ABUSE IT. Darius's ultimate, Noxian Guillotine, is what he is most known for. This skill deals TRUE damage so armor doesn't effect the putout. This skill also deals additional damage for each stack of hemorrhage on his target. One last thing that's freaking great about this skill is that if it is used as a killing blow on a champion there is NO cooldown.

Summoner Spells

I like to use Exhaust so I can either catch-up to an enemy and get a kill, gaurentee a kill, or plainly to get away from a faster champion. I also like Ghost for those reasons aswell. It is a good escape mech and also a good way to get to a kill or a vantage point on your enemies. Flash is also another good Summoner Spell to use as it also serves these objectives.

Pros / Cons

Pros
Hits like a freaking FREIGHT TRAIN.
Very versatile, can solo top, jungle, support, or tank.
    Incredibly fun to play as.
Can pull enemies away from crowds, or over walls.
Cons
Has almost NO way to escape besides Summoner spells and well, running.
If you get too fed, you WILL be CC'd, FOCUSED, and KILLED.
