The AP is because the W scales insanely well with AP. Combined with attack speed this gives you an absurd amount of healing when you get your build together.

Flash behind them, then knockback into the turret or your team. (not the best course of action unless the champ has lots of escape.)

Furor gives you the real chase.

The highlight of this build is high amounts of heals either way. It is more to snare and out-sustain your opponents in team fights.

Blue Smite to keep your enemy in range; if they are out of your melee range you are likely to die.
