This is my first guide so I apologize if the written is terrible.

When you are soloing top as Garen you will want to hide in the bush often. When you exit the bush activate your Q and try to silence your enemy then instantly go into a spin. Feel free to spin in the minions or pop out of the bush once in a while to last hit them.

If you get to damaged sit in a bush or by your tower for a few seconds to regain health then repeat. Garen is an easy champion to play and can easily dominate top lane.

I have done this build against Olaf, Fiora, Yorick, Master Yi, Vladimir, and a few others and have come out successful.

With this build you can do a lot of damage all throughout the game while keeping yourself alive, often being able to solo 2 or 3 enemies and keeping your whole team alive.

How do you keep your whole team alive you ask? Well often what I've found is that Garen does so much damage that people will focus him to stop it, but since he is extremely tanky with this build the enemy is often wrong for focusing Garen.

If the entire enemy team focuses you, you will most likely die but last long enough for your team to secure an ace.

Grabbing the 3 doran's blades early on gives you 12% lifesteal which means great early and late game sustain in 3's.

With the 3 doran's you often do a lot of damage before you get your B. F. Sword and scare off 2 or 3 of the enemy team easily. Depending on what you want you can grab boots or the sword first, I often go boots first because the doran's blades do enough damage on there own.

You will notice an extreme increase in damage once you get the sword with the blades, and so will the enemies health.

You are not extremely tanky with this build for it is AD Garen, but you are tanky enough to make you a real challenge to deal with.

I average 16-23 kills in 3's and 4-7 deaths with this build.
