Introduction

1. Why use?
2. Lore

1. Why use?

Diana is an AP non-squishy mid laner, solo top, assassin, and jungler. Being an assassin, makes Diana kill an champion easily with her combos.

She can dominate mid vs. an squishy AP/AD mid-laner, like Zyra since her combo is a double-ult combo.

She can dominate the jungle with her spell shield that deals damage, and with her no-cooldown ultimate.

She can dominate the top too, because she farms well, and can nuke them all with her Q

I have bought Diana on the day that she arrived, and i liked it a lot :3

3. Lore

An unyielding avatar of the moon's power, Diana wages a dark crusade against the sun-worshipping Solari. Though she once sought the acceptance of her people, years of futile struggle shaped her into a bitter, resentful warrior. She now presents her foes with a terrible ultimatum: revere the moon's light, or die by her crescent blade.

Though she was born to the Solari, Diana's inquisitive nature set her apart from her brethren. She had always found solace and guidance in the night sky, and questioned the dominance of the sun in her society. The Solari elders responded to her challenges with only derision and punishment. Diana remained convinced, however, that if she could find evidence of the moon's power, the elders would listen to reason. For years, she studied Solari archives in solitude until she discovered an encoded message hidden in an old tome. This clue led her to a secluded valley on Mount Targon where she unearthed the hidden entrance to an ancient, sealed temple. Inside, among aging relics and faded murals, she found an ornate suit of armor and a beautiful crescent blade, both inscribed with sigils of the moon. Diana donned the armaments and returned to the Solari elders that night. She declared that the artifacts proved others had once worshipped the moon as she did. Her discovery of evidence challenging Solari dominion shocked the elders. To Diana's horror, they pronounced her a heretic and condemned her to death. As the elders prepared her for execution, Diana's anger and sorrow overwhelmed her desire for acceptance. She lifted her gaze to the sky, calling upon the moon for strength. Lunar power surged within her and she shattered her bindings. Raising her relic blade, she turned and slaughtered the elders. With the temple in ruins behind her, Diana resolved to destroy all those who would deny the power of the moon.

''The sun does not reveal truth. It's light only burns and blinds.''

Runes

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

I use Phreak's Rune build because it's a good set.

Try Attack Speed marks, for boost your passive on the jungle.

Armor seals will boost your defense against minions and jungle monsters.

Ability power Glyphs and Quints will boost your Diana on Early Game

Other viable build is using Greater Mark of Magic Penetration for some magic penetration.

Summoner Spells

Most Viable Summoner Spells

Flash is the best summoner spell in my opinion. It can make the difference between killing a champion or not and dying or not.

Ignite is one good pick-up for mid-top lanes, because of it's true damage and grevious wound.

Smite is the summoner spell that all junglers MUST have. Shaco is the only champion that can jungle well without smite. It can be used to Steal Baron Nashor, or Dragon.

Less Viable Summoner Spells

Heal is a good resource of life on the mid-end of the game, but i just prefer taking flash instead of it.

Exhaust is one of the best low-level summoner spells in my opinion. You can use it instead of Ignite to reduce the Harassment from the other AP-Mid and, sometimes, get the first blood.

Farming / Jungling

Explanation about how to Farm.

When Creeping or farming, you first think: ok, i just need to attack the minions. But no. Farming is more then just attacking minions.
When farming, you would like to last hit all the minions in your wave, but, on the early game, you don't have much damage to last hit well.

When farming on the mid lane, try first to attack the minions that have more health, to stack your passive and, when it's ready to use, cast it trying to hit all minions are possible.
If your opponent try to counter-farm you, use your Crescent Strike to take them back.

Try dont pushing your lane, to prevent ganks from the jungler. Shaco, Warwick, Master Yi, or even Diana are good gankers.

Jungling

When jungling, ask for a leash on the Blue Golem.
Remember using your Pale Cascade only when the golem attacks you, so you can block those attacks until using Smite.

After the Blue golem, press Ctrl+Q to level your Crescent Strike and use it on the wolves. Right after using it, use your Pale Cascade, to block incoming damage.

Go for the Whraits, and after that for the small golems.

Remember of DONT killing the Red Lizard before level 6.
When you reach level 6, you ask if someone needs a gank. If yes, kill it and go ganking.

When Ganking try to start using the Crescent Strike first, to activate your ultimate.
Use Lunar Rush on the opponent and right after that, use your Pale Cascade. If the enemy try to go back, use your Moonfall to push them back for you.
After using Moonfall, use Crescent Strike again, followed by the Double-Ultimate, and the kill.

When jungling with the Blue Buff, try to finish the jungle camps fast, using Crescent Strike followed by Lunar Rush on the main monster of the jungle. Remember to activate your Pale Cascade to block the incoming damage.
