Nasus is a very strong champion, especially when played this way, you can get a lot of kills and a lot of money because of his amazing farming abilities. This build will help you on the way to a Nasus that everyone should fear.
Nasus' skills:Soul Eater - Nasus drains his foe's spiritual energy, giving him a natural 10/15/20% lifesteal. The lifesteal value increments at levels 1,6, and 11.
Awesome passive for a dps'er. It also gives you a lot of staying power in a lane. And it allows you to get no lifesteal items, or get them really late, which is usually not the case with dps'ers.
Siphoning Strike (SS) - Nasus strikes his foe, dealing damage and increasing the power of his future Siphoning Strikes if he slays his target.
Nasus's next attack will deal an additional 30/50/70/90/110 damage (+). Siphoning Strike permanently gains 2 damage whenever it kills an enemy.
This is you main skill using this build. It will make you devastate your target with a simple skill. In combination with a Sheen or Trinity Force this skill will deal a lot of damage. Late game, when you have an Infinity and you get a critical SS you will be amazed how much damage this 40 mana, 5 sec cooldown skill can do. You will easily get a 600-800 damage crit from it. And in a really good game, these crits can go up to 1000!
Wither - Nasus ages his target, decelerating their movement and attack speeds over 5 seconds.
Nasus ages his target, slowing their movement and attack speed by 35% and reducing it further by 3/6/9/12/15% each second for 5 seconds.
Fairly simple skill, though very necessary for chases and also escapes. This is Nasus' only slow ability, he doesn't have a stun or snare. However, it is one of the best slowing abilities around, since it has a 5 second duration and will really stop your target from getting anywhere quickly.
Spirit Fire (SF) - Nasus unleashes a delayed spirit flame at a location, dealing damage and reducing the armor of enemies who stand on it.
After a brief delay, the target area becomes desecrated. Enemies in the area have their armor reduced by 20/25/30/35/40 and are dealt 20/34/48/62/76 (+0.2) magic damage each second.
Now here's a skill that can get you money. Max this out ASAP. It will obliterate an entire creep wave making it a great tower defense or pushing tool. In team fights a good SF can make a huge difference. 40 armor reduction is a LOT. And it will make your SS hurt even more.
Fury of the Sands - Nasus unleashes a mighty sandstorm that batters nearby enemies. While the storm rages, he gains additional Health and drains nearby enemies' max health and converts it into bonus damage for the duration of the skill.
Nasus becomes empowered in the sandstorm, gaining 300/450/600 health. While the storm rages, he drains 3/4/5 (+0.01)% of nearby enemies' health each second (240 damage max per second) and converts it into bonus attack damage.
Your ultimate, and a great skill. Use it in team fights to damage opponents and make yourself stronger. You can tank quite a lot with the bonus health and you'll severely weaken your opponents team, giving your team a great advantage. Dont be shy using it when you take too much damage and think you will die. Survival of you and your teammates is always my first priority.
Nasus is not a bad early game hero, he can keep opponents away from gold and xp with SF, giving him a lot of lane control. This is a lot harder when you are up against ranged heroes. But when placed good it will give them a hard time farming too.
It is VERY important to last hit with SS, otherwise you will be nothing late game. This is a critical stage in the game for Nasus because of the last hitting. If you can do it well, you'll be able to deal good damage with the skill without even leveling it that much. This is what you want because SF is a skill you have to level.
This is usually the stage where the ganks come in. And when I play Nasus I like to push a lot to give your team a great advantage later on. Nasus is a great pusher, he can wipe out a creep wave with one spell and can damage a tower quickly. SS works on towers, so use it when you're hitting a tower to destroy it quickly. However, all this pushing will atract a lot of attention. Thats why I take cleanse. Its one of the best summoners skills around. You get stunned? Cleanse out and walk away. It will often save your life.
This is where your ultimate begins to really shine. Its nice at the beginning but deadly when up against 5 champs. They will take a lot of damage and the chaos will get them to flee, after which you can easily hunt them down. Any champ with good AOE spells is a good team champ, and Nasus excells at this.
I start of with a rejuvenation bead and a fairy charm for good health and mana regen. Use these items to make a Tiamat, which gives you all the minion kills, getting you a lot of money. And money is what you want, because expensive items will follow. Getting a Sheen is a must for Nasus. When you activate SS, Sheen will also be activated, giving your SS an 80% boost. Changing Sheen into Trinity Force makes this boost even better. Trinity is a great item not only for the 130% boost on your SS but also the chance of slowing with your basic attack and Movement speed and Crit Chance will help you out a lot too. When you have Tiamat, Greaves and Trinity its time for some raw damage: Black Cleaver. Hitting enemies with this will reduce their armor even more after taking armor reduction from your SF. A lot of the time they will end up with negative armor, taking increased damage from physical attacks, in stead of reduced damage. After all this armor shredding its time for criticals, and we all know what that means: Infinity Edge. You will end the game with about 40% crit chance. And when you get a critical SS you will be amazed by the damage you deal. With the crit runes you'll deal even more. So you have an attack that deals about 200-250 bonus damage, (depending on how many minions you have been able to farm with SS) 130% bonus damage from the trinity, while critting for 280% your AD. Its like a good nutshot! After the Infinity I usually take Bloodthirster for more lifesteal and AD. I rarely get it because the game doesn't last that long, but its a really nice one for Nasus, giving him 45% lifesteal, making him pretty much invincible 1 on 1. And its really easy to regenerate, just go into the jungle for 10 seconds and come out full health. It's also possible to take banshee's veil if you die too much. It will help you survive and you have a lot of damage output at this point anyway.
About the Infinity Edge part. I changed it to Banshee's. Infinity is nice for the games where you just can't be stopped. But Banshee's is kind of a must for durability.
