This guide is mainly for professional tournaments (MLG) and high elo ranked games, but even dumbest scrubs can soar to high elo using this absolute and exhaustive guide.

To become an unstoppable dunking machiene you will need to be fast, and do tonnes of damage to the other team. Master Yi only has two modes: ATTACK and RUN. If you are ever not doing one of these, stop playing Yi and choose a baby champion instead, like Teemo. You play as a samurai ninja warrior, so you must think like one. Your attacks must be planned out and precise. When you decide it is time to strike, you must hit hard and fast, then run out if nessicary.

Many professional gamers agree taht masteries and runes are for nooblords. While this is true, if you feel like you want to win the game with 100% certainty, you can equip them to dunk the enemy nooblords into oblivion. Also, it is obvious that riot recognized that Master Yi is the best champion in the game by naming an entire statistic metagame around him ("master-yis = masteries" for the nooblords who dont understand subtext).

The only proper way to play Master Yi is a melee dps assassin jungler. This means that we will be in the evil forrest for most of the early game, only coming out to earn some sick ganks or to kill some enemy foot soldiers while your team dies, goes back to heal (lol nooblords) or spend some dolla $$$.




Start off with clothing and 5 red sodas

Head to the stoner brothers and use your dash attack and your Smite to pick up the easy kills. If you're lucky you wont have a nooblord team and they will leash the statues for you.

Next clear out the rude dudes with your dash attack . PRO POINTER: Kill the blue leader first to demoralize the rest of the rude dudes.

Move on to the uncool dogs. Professionals know that you can use your leap strike special to clear them up quick.

At this point if you think you have enough skill and hp you can try to kill the first boss fight in the game: The blue rock monster. PRO POINTER: This boss battle requires intense concentration. Do not attempt unless you are an experienced professional. If you do fight the boss, be sure to use Smite to help pick up the frag.

Continue to fight the monsters in the forest until you notice a opportunity to land a easy kill on a pushed lane or need to heal and spend some dosh.

When you get back to mother base, buy the xman claws , rad sceptre , and wiggles lantern when you can. These items make you kill EVEN FASTER and will even give you bigger vision. PRO POINTER: click the lantern to tag your clan symbol ANYWHERE on the map. It looks sick as hell.

Next make enough coin to get the yellow move really fast boots . At this point, you are as fast as sonic the hedgehog. But a professional Master Yi is capable of breaking the sound barrier. You will want to continue to frag heros, monsters and soldiers to get the double sword item . This is the best item in the game. Not only do you get to move faster, but you can kill faster too. This is THE perfect item for Master Yi. Make enough cash money for 2 more and your build is complete.

COMPLETE BUILD:

At this point, you will be a dunking monster, jumping in and out of teamfights with every kill. If the enemy team does not surrender immediately, you can continue to earn headshots until your double swords are upgraded by the blood of your foes into red doubleswords .

If you feel like toying with your enemy, delay winning the game, sell wiggles lightbulb and buy a lightning arrow sword . This is a good sword to get at anytime in the game, but be sure to have at least one doublesword before buying this item.

Proceed to win the game.

Sometimes the enemy will get mad that you keep killing them and fight unfairly like 1 v 4. So later in the game you should stick close to your team so they can absorb all the damage while you slice and dice the enemy team. Once a fight breaks out turn on your dash equip your blue blade and jump attack onto a nooblord. Proceed to cut him like the joker in batman. Don't be afraid to tactically reposition yourself, Master Yi's speed can pull this off easily. After retreating, or while chasing, don't forget to Q strike back into the fight or to finish of a limpy loooooser PRO POINTER: use brush to surprise your enemy. you are invisible when in a bush and can surprise your foes when you jump out and cut them into swiss cheddar cheese.
