When the game starts don't leash if you don't have to. It will affect you a lot. When you and the champion you're facing are both level 1 ,do what I call the "chip-away". Keep landing your Time-Winder and the other champion will have to recall giving you more farm or if they're stubborn you will have an edge during near future 1v1s. Once you're level 3 you can start to really harass them. Ideally when you fight ,use the brushes. Don't like wait for them and jump them ,this guide is so that you will hug the brushes (not literally ,metaphorically) and time the placing of the Parallel Convergence/W. Once they're inside of your W Phase Dive/E in then toss your Time-Winder/Q. Remember you're still only level 3. If you follow the build I set up then you will be set.

When you're ganked its usually a lopsided fight in which you should lose. But with ekko you can turn on them and wreck them. If they're taling you then place the Parallel Convergence/W so that they will run into it. Once (Oh yeah ,this only works Level 6 and up) they're in and use your ultimate (Only if your shadow is on them) then just finish them off with your time-winder and phase dive.
