Hello, and welcome to my Sejuani guide. I am a mid silver rated player on the EUW server. I have mained Sejuani jungle since the pre-season of season six. I chose to main Sejuani because I loved to play jungle in season five and I only liked playing tanks. The main reason I liked playing Sejuani was because she has great clear speed for a tank and she does surprising amounts of damage, and if you build her full tank you are ridiculously hard to kill. These are the reasons why I fell in love with Sejuani. Sejuani is my most played champion this season and she is the first champion I ever got mastery level seven on.

Runes



These are the runes that I take on Sejuani. I take these because it allows you to do more damage whilst being really tanky.


I take marks of attack damage to help clear the jungle in the early game

I take seals of armour to make me more tanky in the early game but you can replace them with health, scaling health or scaling armour if you want to scale into the late game. The health will not only make it so you can take more damage but it will also allow you to do more damage with your w Flail of the Northern Winds as it scales with the amout of health you have.


For the glyphs I take magic resist but you can replace them with scaling magic resist to again scale into the late game.It best to use them if you have a late game team compassion


For the quintessence's I use attack speed i use them as it helps you proc your E Permafrost /columns]55

Abilities

Sejuani's passive is called Fury of the North
FROST ARMOR: Sejuani receives Frost Armor if she hasn't taken damage in the last 9 seconds, lingering for 1 / 2 / 3 seconds after taking damage from enemy champions.
Frost Armor engulfs Bristle Bristle in True Ice, becoming immune to Slow icon slows and gains 100 (+ 100% total armor) bonus armor and 100 (+ 100% total magic resistance) bonus magic resistance.
ICEBREAKER: Enemies Stun icon stunned by Sejuani are frozen. Sejuani's next basic attack or ability against them deals 10 / 15 / 20% of their maximum health as bonus magic damage, or 400 against minions and monsters.


sejuani's q is called Arctic Assault

Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11
Cost: 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100
Range: 650



Sejuani charges forward, knocking enemies into the air and dealing 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+40% of ability power) magic damage (max 300 damage to monsters). This charge stops after knocking an enemy champion into the air. You can also dash though 99% of terrain.

Sejuani's w is called Flail of the Northern Winds

Cooldown: 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 / 7
Cost: 40 / 35 / 30 / 25 / 20
Range: 350

Sejuani's next basic attack deals 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 % of her target's maximum health (+3% per 100 ability power) as bonus magic damage to her target and all nearby enemies. She then swings her flail, dealing 40 / 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 (+4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 % of maximum health) (+60% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies over 4 seconds. If this ability is reactivated, Sejuani immediately starts swinging her flail.

Passive: Sejuani's abilities and basic attacks apply Frost to enemies for 4 seconds.

Active: All nearby enemies with Frost take 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 / 180 (+50% of ability power) magic damage and are slowed by 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 % for 1.5 seconds.


sejuani's ult is called Glacial Prison


Cooldown: 130 / 115 / 100
Cost: 100
Range: 1175

Sejuani throws her frost-forged bola in a line. If the bola hits an enemy champion, it shatters, stunning the target and nearby enemies for 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 seconds. If the bola reaches its maximum range, it shatters and slows enemies by 30% instead.

All enemies in the shatter area take 150 / 250 / 350 (+80% of ability power) magic damage.

Ihis is the order i level up sejuani abilities. I start off with her w Flail of the Northern Winds because it gives her good waveclear in the jungle then i get her e Permafrost for the extra AOE damage and makes her clears easier. I max Flail of the Northern Winds first because it gives her a lot of AOE damage. I max Permafrost second just to add the the amount off AOE damage she has and the large 70% slow at max rank. i level it this ay because it allows you to stick to your target.

What jungler item should you get and why

The three types of jungle items you can get are Skirmisher's Sabre, Tracker's Knife and Stalker's Blade

You get the Skirmisher's Sabre because of the passive of Challenging Smite. Your smite can be cast on enemy champions, marking them for 4 seconds. While marked, you deal 60-162 (based on level) true damage over 3 seconds, have vision of them, and reduce their damage to you by 20%

You get Stalker's Blade for the passive of Chilling Smite your Smite can be cast on enemy champions, dealing 28-164 true damage and stealing 20% of the target's movement speed for 2 seconds

You get Tracker's Knife for the passive of Warding Consumes a charge to place a Stealth Ward that reveals the surrounding area for 150 seconds. Holds up to 2 charges which refill upon visiting the shop.

I normally take Stalker's Blade because i prefer to have the extra slow in the kit just in case i need it and it helps me stick to my targets and gives me the movement speed to help me stick to more than one target.

Jungle Routes

There are three possible routes that you can do in the beginning. Your routes afterwards will have to vary.



There is one route where you do a normal full clear including all the small camps and the buffs. If you want to do this make sure to buy 3x Health Potions at the start, since you will need them.



Route 2 is to do your first clear with just the small camps, skipping blue and red buff. After that you go back, buy the Machete and do a full clear including the buffs and all small camps, which will respawn as you make the clear. I recommend doing this clear, since it has several advantages: You maximize your XP gains, as you make best use of the small camp respawn timers and do the buffs with both Jungler Items. It also allows you to start with Refillable Potion instead of 3x Health Potion. It also helps you against Level 2 invades since you can't get caught at your buffs and in the worst case you loose a buff, but not your life.



Your last route option is to do one side of you jungle. This includes two small camps and a buff then back and get boots or second jungle item. Afterwards go strait to the other buff and gank immediately after however you do not get a much Exp from this route but it allows you to generate some early pressure if you are against a farm jungler like Shyvana or Master Yi to try and get some lane snowballing and prevent them from free farming in their jungle if their lanes are winning.



I mainly use the last route because i like to gank a lot with sejunai to try and get a lane snowballing so we can try and end the game as fast a possible. If i manage to do this i can then not focus in that lane and be able to apply pressure in other lanes that may need my help.[/columns]

Ganking

You should look for a gank around level 3 when you have all three of you basic abilities .When you gank as sejuani you should look to dash into them with your q Arctic Assault then auto w Flail of the Northern Winds and then when they flash or dash away you will want to use your e Permafrost to slow them this will allow you and your lanners to catch up to your target. IF the lanner you just ganked used a summoner like flash you should go back and gank them later on as you know then no longer have it this will most likely tern into a kill and they have n escapes to get away with you huge amount of cc from your Permafrost[/columns]

TeamFighting

In teamfight you will want to look to get the best Glacial Prison as possible ideally you will want to get the whole enemy team in your ultimate but if that is not possible you should try and get the most important person in the ultimate so that your team is safe to fight without the worries of them flanking them and kill them. In the the fight you should look to dive into there back line and try to soak up as much damage as possible and try to land a good ultimate that get there carries it stop the amount of DPS the enemy team can produce. Doing this allows the rest of your team to reposition and allow them to kill them without taking much damage.

Sejuani sejuni is my favourite jungler and it was a real shame that people dropped her after she and Cinder hulk were nerfed, but she's still a lot of fun and is a great champion to play with as she has lots of cc and I hope that this guide will encourage players to pick her up again.
