So... you wanna play Darius.

The overall style of this build is to build spirit visage to combo with Ravenous Hunter and Thirst for blood, while at the same time providing Ridiculous damage through his combo using Electrocute and slows from items such as Black Cleaver.

How to I burst in lane as darius?

While I will be adding to this guide to provide an in depth breakdown of matchups, I will provide very basic combos that you can use in lane with different items.

Using my ability path you will have a lower CD on Apprehend which will mean you can burst more often, and with the added armour pen and electrocute, score more kills.

By going in on an enemy, using E to hook them,get an auto attack off, W for the slow and extra damage, electrocute with proc, followed by a well placed Q as they have had time to move out into its radius. Darius has so much burst in lane and can be combined with runes and builds such as this to Dominate any matchup.

For a faster burst where you expect they may run or if they have a very small amount of Health you can opt to - E for hook, W for slow and Q. By missing the AA you get less damage off but against someone with lower hp it may not be required.

Once you have ult its pretty much the same thing. The advantage of adding the extra AA in the middle of the burst is that it stacks the bleed higher which means a longer fight can trigger your passive and provide an AD buff as well as applying max bleed to the next targets you hit.

So bursting with ult up.

E hook -> AA -> W slow -> Q spin2win ->

at this point, you can either. Ult them if you know u can kill them and chain ults.
You can AA again to get them to the execute threshold, or if you have ignite and cannot chase, you can ult for some damage, get an AA off and ignite to finish them alongside your bleed.

so in short a basic burst with ult up would be:

E hook -> AA -> W slow -> Q spin2win -> R concave his cranium.
